Why crossfire didn't upgrade Game engine/Graphics/Optimization since 2007?
Let's talk about Graphics first
I am wondering why crossfire didn't change that much since 2007, I mean it's graphics are still very bad comparing it to some other e-sports games like CS:GO or Rainbox Six Siege or so on, why Crossfire graphics didn't improve and they didn't update the game Engine since the game's release in 2008.
Yes, I know you all will say that they didn't upgrade graphics because they are working on crossfire HD, But, Crossfire HD has started development in early 2018
So like that crossfire developers had from 2007 to 2018 to improve graphics just at-least a little bit, So why they didn't upgrade the game's engine and improve graphics?
Yes, You are going to tell me because most players are low end PC Gamers, But here is a thing, They can do Graphical options like how so many games do, And these Special Effects Graphic options that already Exist in the game are not "Real" Graphical options, It is like Game-play configurations
Now let's talk about Optimization
I have noticed that Crossfire Utilizes so much of my PC's computing power, When I play a game like GTA 5 (Which is one of the best Optimized games of all time) On Maximum possible settings and then it gives me an average FPS of 80 Or higher and my CPU and GPU Utilization doesn't get above 80%
But in crossfire When I turn on special effects, the CPU and GPU Utilization rises all the way up to 100% in devastated city and elemental temple, Because of high-utilization I get some stutters which are not very notice-able but it is still there, But what could be so intensive to make the game so Intensive to Utilize all of that? The game literally loads only a map that is like 2 Square miles, When GTA 5 is an open world game and on Maximum settings where the CPU has to render spaces that are like 50 times bigger than Crossfire's ZM Map with Special Effects... So what sort of Optimization is this? What everyone knows about E-sport games is that their optimization is very good, But why is crossfire's optimization just so... Ruined?
If you are wondering my PC specs are:
i7-4790k 5 GHz Overclock
16 GB RAM 1600 MHz
GTX 1070 Ti OC
Now let's talk about Game Engine
The Game Engine is probably the reason the Optimization and Graphics Optimization...
This game is using Monolith LithTech Jupiter EX Which is a game Engine that was released back in 2005, This game Engine is so old that it makes some Nvidia RTX GPU users have problems with the game, Which means that RTX GPU Users can't play this game... That Game Engine NEEDS to be upgraded, Can you imagine? An E-Sports game in 2019 is using LithTech Jupiter EX
That game Engine is also why people with High-Pings in this game ruin the game for other people who have low ping, This is also why hit-boxes in this game are very in-accurate, As I said, That engine NEEDS to be upgraded.
And finally, I want to say something, All versions of crossfire are sort of a copy-and-paste of Crossfire China but with a delay of a month or 2.. Also all Crossfire games use the same Game-Engine and Mechanics, It is just a copy and paste with a delay, Just tell me if you agree with all of what I said in this long topic.
