ShadowRo;n6948181]You can try next checks/tips:
1. Check if you have latest version ( open version.ini and see if latest version is 1384 at the time i post this reply )
2. Game must be added to all antivirus and firewall exceptions (even you are using windows defender + windows firewall ) - or you can temporary turn off antivirus and firewall before start game as a test
https://forum.z8games.com/forum/cros...for-cross-fire
* Tho some antivirus as avast and avira will keep interfering with game even you disable them
3. When start game : open patcher_cf as an administrator
4. In case you are running on Wi-Fi try to use a wired connection between laptop and router if is possible ( wifi can induce own latency and increase overall ping in game )
5. Reset tcp/ip and flush DNS :
https://forum.z8games.com/forum/cros...-windows10-8-7
and restart home router
6. Inside home router : forward port 13008 and 16666
https://youtu.be/uHV0TgVKNZQ
If you can't figure out how to open those two ports - contact me on discord i will try to guide you on each step ( as some routers menu are not that simple ), for some players that seems to fix d/c from servers that often.
Also other users report if they use mobile phone connection ( as hotspot or by USB cable ) to connect on internet , game seems to work ( while mobile phone have a different ISP then home router) , if is possible then you can try this also.
none of what you specified works.
servers that do not give errors play with ping 160(NA)
2 servers DELTA EU ping 31 Disconnected From Server every 5-6min -

Not to be rude, but if you ask me these steps are a waste of time. I can still be shot and people can still move properly for like 5 seconds after the error pops up. It seems like the game throws an error that cuts your connection, it's NOT your connection being lost due to something on your end, the game just throws you out. -
ShadowRo;n6948657]Those are not working 100% for all players, but is all you can do on your side, if still have same problem then is clear you can't do nothing more on your end to improve connection and last remaining option is to send a support ticket with all those information.
That's also a waste of time, If you send a super detailed report of your problem with all the information they could ever need, including your DXDIAG, here's the reply they'll give you:
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting Z8Games Support Center.
All of our systems are currently running normally and most of the users are able to play normally. If you are still facing issues, please try the following steps for basic troubleshooting:
- Check if your computer currently meets our minimum system requirements at http://crossfire.z8games.com/download.html
- Restart your computer and trying again. Occasionally, anomalies may occur the longer a system has been up and running. If the problem is fixed after a restart, this may explain the situation you are experiencing.
- Check your DirectX version and the date on key system drivers such as your network card and graphics card to ensure that everything is up to date.
- Check any hardware or software that interacts with your internet connection between your computer and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Routers, firewalls, anti-virus software and the like can occasionally interfere with your connection to CrossFire. You should provide or make "exceptions" (put CrossFire in the list of safe programs) so that the game can pass through any security settings you may have enabled.
- Scan your computer for any viruses and spyware's, and remove them. Viruses or spyware may also cause issues for the game.
- Close down any applications which may be running prior to launching CrossFire as these may interfere with the running of the game.
If you have any serious difficulties loading the game, we recommend you uninstall the game using the official uninstaller located on your start menu.
Then please go to the main Crossfire website and download our newest client version on the download option page: http://crossfire.z8games.com/download.html
Here is a complete guide on how to install CrossFire: http://support.z8games.com/crossfire...tall-crossfire
Please re-install the game and try again.
You may also wish to try posting your issue on our Technical Issues Forum (http://forum.z8games.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13). Some players may have the same issue you are experiencing and the player community may be able to assist with your specific issue further there, but please keep in mind that all advice offered on that forum is given "as-is" and is not necessarily endorsed or recommended by SG Entertainment/Smilegate West.
We thank you for your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Regards,
[GM]Sharingn"
So don't even bother, they're not even looking at your report. They read "I got error" they copy paste their standard text. Not once has a GM even acknowledged the problem, not here on the forum and not in tickets. -

When you can't answer a question, you say send a ticket. I sent on 22.03.2021-there is no answer and looking at it and you will also not have one to solve the problem
You play well with the game, there are fewer and fewer players. You made a complete waste of a wonderful game -
ShadowRo;n6948692]I answer with some tips that seem to work for some players ( including reset tcp/ip , flush dns and restart pc and router ) if none of those improve the overall connection then last option is to sent a ticket as described on step 4 in this topic:
https://forum.z8games.com/forum/crossfire/crossfire-support/319365-failed-to-connect-to-server#post319365
I don't handle support tickets, only z8 staff does.
Do you even read what I write to you?
