Is there a way to alt + tab out of CrossFire(while ingame)?

It won't focus on the selected tab and will always keep CF in the foreground. I don't have second monitor and when I'm dead in S&D etc I'd rather browse the internet than watch my team run around completely lost.

I am and this worked for me, thank you very much.

Since the video is in russian if other people wonder how to do it for windows 10, first you need to right click your task bar and make sure 'show task view button'(third option for me) is enabled. Then there will be a symbol next to your windows button in the task bar where you can add virtual desktops. You keep some task you don't want to switch to in desktop 1 together with crossfire, for example a blank browser window and drag stuff you want to switch to ingame to the second desktop(for example browser window with youtube or whatever). Once you started crossfire and are ingame first alt+tab to the blank window so it lets you use windows keyboard shortcuts, then press windows key+control+right arrow and it will take you to the second desktop.

what about if we do not use windows 10 and play window mode?i use 7 64 because i do not like w 10.how can i alt tab the game when the music on you tube stops ,or a friend calls me.

Yeah, if you run in Windowed mode, it's actually not using Crossfire. You can use a GPU reader while playing the game, and you'll see that your second card isn't being used during window mode. Software developers have to custom code in order to have their game work with Crossfire.

I didn't realize Crossfire was such a pain in the butt for developers. In the future, I'll probably just buy one monster card rather than two lesser cards.

And Yes, I experience some glitchiness, but not to your level. I have two 6970 cards in crossfire.

If you want to pause or start a youtube video you can select the tab and press spacebar, it won't be put in the foreground but keyboard shortcuts that normally work on youtube still will, other than that no idea. Maybe you can setup a keybind for picking up calls in whatever software you're using or somebody else knows more.
