"Invalid item information" - Impossible to connect to any servers

Hi since the update has been done it has been impossible for me to connect to any servers. I can enter my login ID/password but when it is time to select a server to join (I mainly play on europe and america) it automatically shut down my game. Everytime I try to connect I can see that the in game error given right before shutting down my game is "Invalid item information". I can't add a screenshot because the error is appearing during 1 frame so it's basically too fast to take a screenshot.

For information I bought both Roxy and 9A-91 wild eagle (chibi doll + glass bead coming with too) during the presale. Is it possible that my issue is coming from those new items that I bought ?

I reinstalled my game 20 minutes ago and the same error is still on. My internet is all good (I can play other games without problem and watching youtube vids at the same time).

I hope someone will help me fast ^^. Thank you for reading.

Same issue here. I didn't buy anything new but just keep getting ejected from the game because of this error. So annoying.

I guess the server did not recognize the internet provider you are using. I have the same issue, I use Spectrum and I cannot connect to the server. If I use the Internet from the university, it works.

Stumbled across this error today after updating the game for the first time in a couple of months, anything new on this?

If you haven't, try installing, updating and playing the game with "run as administrator". It doesn't update like it should otherwise and a multitude of people seam to have problems coming from that.

and if what [USER="26494729"]Painanator[/USER] said doesnt work you can go in the files of the game, modify manually the version of the game in the "version" file then go in the properties of the version file and remove the Admin rights to write in this file.

The counterpart of this is you will have to change back the properties of the "version" file back to normal (Admin autorized to write in this file) once there's a new update to see if the cf patcher can automatically make the update or not. If it still can't make the update we will have to go back to the "manually update technic" described just above.
