Weird Yellow Checkpoints appearing ingame

Lately, some weird yellow checkpoint signs have been appearing to me in game with a beep. I've asked other players if they can see it too and it seems they can; not sure about enemies tho. When I go to the checkpoints nothing happens, neither I know how and why do they appear. I don't know if u guys know what am talking about but this forum wouldn't let me upload a picture larger than 19.5 KB!

You must upload the image to imgur (easiest) or some other picture host and post the link (with code) here.

That is the perk of AK12 iron beast. When you press 1 twice it marks a location. Since everyone got AK12 free for one day people accidentally triggering the effect.

It's a perk from the VIP Ak12 Iron Beast, basically owning the gun allows the owner to place a marker wherever on the map.
We're having a event that gives out temp vips for 3 days which includes the ak12 so everyone has been spamming it lol
