mutation mode

In mutation mode I feel like as a mutant I am being kited to death by players with guns with little retaliation, and the knockback mechanic is annoying but I can probably just get used to it. How do I avoid getting kited as a mutant in that mode?

Normal MM It quite easy to get lockdown as a Mutant thanks to the TMPs and LMG. My recommendation is to play either HM or HMX as Mutants is those mode are stronger.

To add to this, there is also a knock back reduction item that can be bought for GP in the item shop.
