So apart from the Axe ability to confuse the hell outta you when your press 3 to view behind you. This Axe give the higher jump ability whilst in M.M modes. This is not mention in the wiki nor said in the weapon.

Yeah I first discover it in carnival after a somewhat failed jump toward the ship to rooftop I tried a boost jump but (jumping on a soldier) I noticed I made the jump with ease when I had the axe on hand. So I decided to go to Rooftop and try out the mutant path of the rooftop (soldier can easily do that with a higher jump weapon) And I did with ease no boosting that what confirm the axe giving a higher jump.
