Save the game!!! Permanent BANNED hackers and their IP addresses!

Hackers are getting out of control :mad::mad::mad:, there are at least 3 to 4 hackers in a room. It is so easy just to create a new account to test out or using hack.
So Please Admins! Please banned all these hackers account and block their IP addresses.

  • Damn, boi, i thought they really started to ban via IP.
  • There have been little or no change, since at least when I transferred here from CF-EU (For many more years, if you ask those who have played here from the beginning). The cheater-number goes up and down. People complain, people praise.

I remember the cheater situation being way worse, back when Brazil was part of this server (how many years, was that? I can't remember myself). Back then people were sitting inside boxes and killing people and at least one player in every room were using speed and/or aim.

The in-game report system at least helped to ban the most stupid of the cheaters, so the situation is generally better. But no game will ever be free from cheaters, it's sad, but we all have to accept it, if we are going to keep playing online.

Every second month there is someone who says the server is doomed and will close, it's still here, still have lot's of players yet. If nothing drastic happens, it probably will be here in 5 years more.

IP blocked doesn't help. hackers using dynamic IP or IP creator.
  • This topic (hacking) is waves and waves and waves. There are weeks when there is more hacking, and there are weeks when there are fewer. Remember: our perception is personal. Just because you see 5 players cheating in 1 hour, it doesn't mean everyone does/sees it too. This is a bit of perspective.

This wave has been like this for years. "Hacking" used to be worse, not only because there were Brazilians on these servers, but the game was more vulnerable to the hacking attempts. Nowadays, CrossFire's textures have more protection against hacking. Today, hacking is limited in CrossFire. Cheaters can't do a lot of things they used to do before, because CrossFire generates an error or errors of type "CF Client."

They can't ban IPs because most people are on dynamic connections, and it could ban people who hadn't played before. Also, many players play in Internet Café - Cybercafé or college campus. And that was noticed at quarantine. Many players couldn't play for that reason.

Obviously, there is more hacking now than e.g., in 2010, simply because:

    1. there are more computers connected to the internet (thus more devices through which to hack if one chooses to).
    2. there is more material about hacking in forums and YouTube and Social Network. There are guides about CrossFire vulnerabilities, ready-made hacking scripts, codes, and info about the hacking in CF (at forums).
  • game for all purposes is generally dead, not dying but pretty much gone. Let whatever happen, happen at this point
