Missing sounds

Whille playing crossfire for the first time my sound effects have stoped working
i do not have sound effects muted i can still hear my menu scrolling and other things like that

things i cant hear :
gun shots
weapon reloding/drawing
footsteps

i still hear my killsounds and radio messages

would any of these be affected by custop kill sounds or
a system cleanup from my firewall/antivirus software

nevermind, found the problem my audio drivers have been fked up by my pc cleanup
im reinstalling them now
