Goodbye from [MOD]Abel
Yep, that's right. You read it right. MOD Abel is officially saying goodbye to CrossFire.
Well here goes. I'm officially no longer part of the mod team due to a decision made by the GMs based on a certain report from a regular player. While I don't agree with this decision and even question legitimacy of the evidence submitted, the decision is final. Therefore, I am stepping down from the mod team.
I started playing CrossFire on March 2009 and was an active community member since 2010. I joined the MOD team in 2017 (correct me if I'm wrong here) and severed a total of just over 3 years as a MOD. I really enjoyed being a mod on here and it was something I aimed to achieve which I have.
To the MOD team, I know you are sadden by this decision however, I am always here to support you guys if you ever need me. It's been a absolute pleasure working with you guys and I don't just mean this to current mods either. This also applies to the all the ex mods which were around when I was mod. I hope I have been a helpful member to the team and some of you aren't just mods but also my friends. You have my contact information if you ever want to contact me. I hope you guys continue to deliver great things to the community and keep up all the good work!
To the GM team, continue doing what you guys do best. While being a mod, I have come closer to the GMs and definitely know some of the GMs on a more personal level. While sometimes we may not see eye to eye, I hope I have delivered on what a mod should of delivered and been a true asset to the Smilegate West team. You have a good game on your hands however, it will be up to you to make that game 'great'.
To the friends that I have made on here, I am truly grateful of our friendship. I have met many players on here which all come from different backgrounds and truly, you were the people who made this game great and fun. I hope to continue our friendship even after this and I already play some other games with some of you guys. You already have my contact information if you need to contact me. I won't list names as the list goes on forever but I think you know who you are.
And finally to the CrossFire Community, I am sorry that I have let you guys down here. I don't really know what to say. The CF Community has been in my life for 11 years. Something which I can not forget or completely let go. While the community had it's ups and down, you guys are the players who keeps this game going. Without you guys, this game might not be here today. I have tried to bring the community closer by doing certain events. You may remember such events like the Forumers Room or the Weekly Giveaway which was a attempt at giving something back to the community and I hope I have succeeded where many may have failed.
It's unfortunate that these events have occurred however, a wise person told me once that the more success you have, the more haters you will gain which will try to bring you down. I don't hate the people who have reported me. If anything, I feel sorry for them and I know I did nothing wrong. I won't go any further here so the thread doesn't get closed or deleted.
What's next for me? I will still be around here and there since I have many friends who still play this game. You may see me on discord or on the forums. You guys are more than welcome to message me if you like or if you want to know more about my experiences being a mod at CF. At the good thing about not being a mod is I can freely talk and not have any responsibilities to mod.
I hope I haven't missed anything out but I would like to say thank you to everyone that knows me. Peace! #FreeAbel

This game is going down since last 2 years and I don't see why would they decide to remove a key moderator over a complaint ?
They could have issued a warning if they really thought that the complaint was true but removing a moderator is not a solution. It's really bad for the game and the forums and I hope they reverse their decision. IIRC, you and weiwei were added as Moderators 3 years ago and almost all people endorsed that decision as you two were useful to the community since the inception of the game. Forum is already dead and I don't get why they decided to remove you instead they should have taken initiatives to revive this forum.
It always painful to see fellow veteran players getting ill treatment as if they are nothing different than new players. I saw tons of old school players leaving this game throughout my CF life (2009-2020) just because of such attitude. It's another bad decision made by GMs. I wish success in your life and I would suggest you to not be disheartened by the decision and do what you always like to do. -
This is OneTrue on my alt alt alt. Its a genuine shame that the GMs decided to side with some petty player or group over someone as great as you. My respect for them has gotten lower over the years but damn, this pretty much seals it.
The players that lied to get you thrown out from your position should be banned in full. **** 'em entirely.
The GMs dont realize that they lost their most dedicated player and best MOD, but thats their own fault for siding with some worthless players.
I dont consider myself a member of the CF community because I hate a majority of it and the game at this point, but the fact I'm here on my alt alt alt is a testament to my respect for you.
You deserved better for your dedication, and CFW deserves more than ever to sink. -
Well, that one was a good way to ruin my morning. Considering how much effort and time Abel has put into the community is unbelievable, and for some mistake which he wasn't even able to defend himself, nor shown the evidence to himself, reported by other player/players is just a quick way to silent and strip away power from someone who actually deserves it. It wouldn't make me this angry, if people who actually rigged votes in favour for only themselves, shared accounts, start to cause drama, used the mess they caused themselves to pretend of being a victim or doing the same things people got punished for still haven't been brought to any justice, even when the evidence was given.
Now by stopping my angery ranting, I admire Abel. Even by being put into this, messed up situation, he still kept his cool and professionalism and didn't leash out at everyone everywhere. Stay strong Abel.

Dear Abel, I wholeheartedly want to thank you for many things. Your wisdom, patience, understanding, and other virtues and values that stand out in you.
You are indeed a kind person, a generous person, and a helpful person. As a community, value your dedication and years of service to the community. Now that you aren't a MOD, it's time to enjoy and relax. Make the most of your time spent with family, hobbies, leisure, and friends.
You were a great moderator.
You were one of the best MODs currently for me.
Many successes in everything you undertake, and in everything you do.
Successes! -
Good bye Abel, it hurts me that they let you be as a moderator, but in that case, you are a wise and honest person, thanks for your support and thanks for the events on the forum,
not only that, you also helped us all throughout the CF community and I tell you one thing, for me you are a wise moderator.
Thanks Abel. -

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has supported me and has been sending me their support through the forums / discord. It's been pretty overwhelming to see soo many players having my back and I'm very grateful for it.
Like I mentioned earlier, I'm no longer going to be active on CF however, I may pop up every now and then. Thanks again guys! -
Well we never spoken or played together so cant say I knew you. However I am sorry to read this news & will miss you. I have always appreciated & benefited from your efforts on the forum. I have trouble believing any long standing member would do anything wrong let alone something bad enough to warrant this action. I am troubled by your description of the "process" involved however I suspect the GM's will not be troubled by that. Anyway thanks for your presence & efforts, they meant something to me.

Well I can't enforce my views on anyone but I want you to stay in CF and remain part of it. They were wrong in removing you not you so why do you have to leave CF?
Be part of CF and try to support players who are against the dark face of the CF. If I were you I would still be in CF as you lost nothing but gained more respect in the eyes of the community.
