Keyboard settings not able to save

My keyboard settings for "SHOOT" and "SPECIAL ATTACK" both set on the same Tab by system. I can change and save but always set back by system to the same wrong settings. It´s not possible to play if both actions are set on "mouse left". Needs to be fixed!! Not playable in this way!

I Think that there might be a problem in the game with the save settings as I too have a problem. If I play S&D knockdown and I am using my Florence character, when I try to heal someone and they don't stay absolutely still, instead of healing them I end up Kicking them because the Heal button is the same as the special attack button.
I do not use the buttons on a gaming mouse though as all my settings are keyboard related.
Maybe you should stop using the mouse settings and try keyboard instead.
As you say though,there Is a problem with the save settings in certain areas.

When I bought my new PC and installed crossfire, i had an issue of the game settings resetting back to default and I found out it was because the directory housing the game's settings was in read only mode and it failed to write to any files in the directory. It was fixed after I disabled the read-only mode for that directory and granted access to modify files in that directory.
