ZM3 Induction Rocket

Does anyone know hi to make the induction rocket work for ZM3? Whenever I use it and place it down it just does nothing and I know it takes time and it is long range but still it never works. Anyone know hit to make it work or how it works..?

But I prefer the drone: fly and shoot at enemies.
