Barrett Titanium Beast - Mousewheel /Switch and Crosshair

I usually use my mouse wheel to switch from a sniper to a melee weapon ... (I'm just used to it^^)
But that doesn't work anymore, because every time I switch this stupid little box comes up that thinks I want to change my scope. This scope can also be changed in storage, so why should I want to change it again in the middle of a game? It makes absolutely no sense ... And how can I remove the Crosshair? I don't want that either, it's certainly helpful for beginners, but for me it's more of a distraction. I very much hope that there will be changes as soon as possible and that I can play normally again, it just ruins my style of play and also my flow. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that way and feels the whole thing as a bad joke. Please do not misunderstand ... The barrett itself is damn cool and I will definitely not want to exchange it but I am extremely disappointed with these two things mentioned above ...

For me, the scope selection didn't show up unless I middle clicked, and it wouldn't go away. Joining a new game made it go away, but kept my selection, and my mouse wheel was usable again.

Uhmm... I'm sure it's not a bug. It was certainly predetermined. I think they didn't think about the fact that there are players who might switch with the mouse wheel and that this could cause problems.

But thanks for your feedback. And yes, first of all they should get the servers up and running ...

Same here, it really drove me crazy when trying to switch the weapon after shooting using the mouse scroll! About 70% chance it will go into that stupid mode asking me to switch the view! Hope they can add an option of disabling this function in the storage.

It is extremely frustrating for me too. If possible can the adjustable cross-hair be switched off in the storage section?

Sadly, it is not possible, which is why I made this thread. With the hope that the GM's will read it and then make changes. At the moment, however, it doesn't look like anything will change. As you said - it's just frustrating :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

And it is a waste of money too! I cannot even use that in the games...

I have good and bad news. The bad one first.

:(Bad news: The GM's will not make any changes in this regard for the time being.

:DGood news: I found a way to get around this annoying option. You can set your mouse wheel click so that you press 'q' instead of opening the scope settings. The only disadvantage - it is no longer possible to change the scopes during the game but you can also do this before the game in storage...

No, they actually fixed the grenades. Thanks anyway.

damn I forgot that the problem was related to the switch with snipers:rolleyes:
