Watch out for hackers reporting you

That's right, you read it right, so apparently a hacker can retaliate by reporting you. I been playing for over 9 years, I don't play rank, and I don't play with the same hacker in the room twice, especially intentionally. I do remember I only played one ZM mode for the past whole year? Which was last week, that there was a hack inside, I reported him and finished the game and left. I saw him opening another room with the room name: VIPs only, that is when I was thinking this kids up to something. Maybe the honor systems are removed I would have left every single games with hacks.. I am one of those with like no desertions, weird eh?

So, there goes the chance to finish the monthly event and get the spray, lesson learnt that you might actually get ban by getting reported by hackers, even if is only 1 game

Seems ridiculous, but the fact of what I had seen for the past 9 years, everything's possible here

just report and leave would give u no trouble.

This is something really sad, that legit players are getting temp ban for this reason, we will need to be extra careful and not falling in the hekers game. This is the main reason I quit doing ZM in pubs. Will wait for the next ZM update to try play again (my fav mode).

I don't know if that is how it works, I reported a ton, maybe thats where the trouble comes in oh well, if it comes down for every other player needing to dodge hackers, i guess thats that.

To be honest, I am not even sure if it was the hacker from that game, since they probably won't give me any other explanations.. but that is the only one I can think of. That is sad, if it comes down to getting chased away by hackers

If you play zm with hak and GM catch the room or room get reported.
The hak will get permenant ban
All others who were in room : 15 days ban + remove Honorable Soldier Ribbon.

Hmm not sure I played couple zm while back and had a cheater joined mid way and I didn’t care. I’m not going to leave just because one joined and lose progress, so not sure why people are afraid. Same goes for ranked if you got nothing to hide then don’t worry. I’ve had cheaters kick me and report, but not sure if they did because I would call them out and nothing happened to me. How do you even know the cheater reported you?

Long story short maybe your case is different and I say that because support has banned someone for hacking after “careful investigation” then after back and forth they unbanned the account.

In general, this usually happens to rooms that are passworded specifically so people can abuse clearing the room quickly with a hacker to try and get good drops from the room. If you've been banned for this reason, we have looked into it and decided that you intentionally played with that person for your own benefit.

Hi GM Kanadian.
My question is simple, why, you do not connect with a ghost account on the DELTA server, channel 1.
You will see a number of ZMs with cheats that don't even hide.

The problem is that I didn't join any password room throughout the last whole month, nor was I told I was banned for this reason. Last time I played long term was from Raiders Lan and EGLX, so I'm kindly asking you guys to look into it, since for real, I would not care about getting wins in pub nor will I ever abuse winnings with hackers. I rarely ever play in the same room twice, besides wave mode, which is the only times I can think off. I even have the screenshot of those couple wave games, it was all high rank and no one called out anyone hacking, someone did get ban using the corona name, the same person posted on the forum, so I was wondering if the system picked that up as playing with someone who has been banned for more like a couple games. Greatly appreciated if you can look into it, Kanadian, I only play once a month every year now days, and two weeks gone is a lot, thanks.

Your problem is always solved simple. Don't join rooms with PW. When you see a hacker in the room, report it and exit the room quickly.

Well it's not that simple. So after half the game is played the hacker joins and I am supposed to leave the room? No sir.
What you're doing is blaming the victim. This person is taking all the points and most of the time I can't get the 700k points to get the best crate.
As Kanadian said, "that you intentionally played with that person". I will not leave any room, that's what they want. I will not let hackers win!

If hackers were not there in the first place this would not have happened.

I agree you shouldn't have to leave a room if a hacker enters. . and if it's a ranked match then you lose more points if you leave the game
