Reward system for those who kick/report players that end up getting banned

We've experience at least once or twice cheaters in game, and their team mates just refuse to kick them so they can take advantage of that and other who abuse the kick vote system to kick whoever they want for whatever reason they want, it's clear to me that the kick vote system needs an update/upgrade or be removed(since there's a in game report system). My question is, when i report a cheater, is probably possible for those who analyze the report to do something about the team mates who refuse to kick the cheater, which in my opinion it's worse than the cheater itself... are these players analyzed in chat or whatever so they can be punished as well? I mean, they're legit but they're supporting this to happean, the best way to get rid of cheaters is quite simple, just create a reward system for both kick and report systems, so players can be rewarded if they kick and/or report a player that has been banned, also, those who report or kick players that don't get banned, if they were ilegible to receive any reward, they lose it. Might be hard to implement, might be hard to make it work properly, but do nothing is out of question, pretty sure if GMs decide to implement this idea, everyone would love to report any cheater in order to get rewarded some ZP crates, look at it as investment, if the game gets rid of cheaters, they deserve to get "paid"(since it's ZP capsules) for their work. Also, create ribbons for those who manage to reach 100,1000,10000 reports that result in ban of cheater account. Let's make this game cleaner, because better than complain is sugest ideas, if we work as a comunity against this cancer, the game will get better and better means more players and players who would love to spent more time and money(without cheaters is worth to spent money, at least, that's what i feel like).

Sorry for the long post, just had this random idea and i'm really excited about this. I would love to get some GM feedback.

Might be just me, but i did not understand what did you mean, anyways it's just an idea to motivate people to use the system more frequently and never abuse it.
  • We do not need a reward system. If we get enough bans and help clean up the game, then that is reward enough.
Also about your suggestion about people that do not vote kick in game? Sometimes you are concentrating so much that you do not even notice the vote kick until too late to vote.
I do know what you mean about people not voting with the F11 button just to be on the winning team but I think that now it is so easy to report a hacker that soon the game will be a lot cleaner.
Lets wait and see. I think the futures so bright that I gotta wear shades.
  • The problem with this system is simply that if people get rewarded from reporting hackers and we can make so many new accounts....what's to prevent someone from creating many alts, hacking on those, and then reporting them on their main for EZ rewards?

Naturally there needs to be many restrictions if such was put into place. Those restrictions would likely end up turning the in-game reporting system into more of a hassle for at least one party, the submitters or the reviewers....or it'll make it more of a hassle on both of them depending on what restrictions would be needed and how they could be implemented.

I mean, I don't agree about the players ’reward for the reports. You can report the hacker if you’re a clean person. if u hate the hacker
about the voting system. is good enough.
  • If there is 10000 Successful reports Ribbn, that means smth is wrong :D

It won't work like that, the anti cheater is bad, those who cheat now are allways rookie accounts, the cheaters might get banned, but they will create more accounts so they can keep cheating, the game gets cleaner in ranked because you need to achieve a certain rank to play ranked games(and cheaters get banned before even reach master seargent), but in public rooms it wont get a LOT cleaner, lets wait and see, but i still agree with more measures to motive players use the report/kick system properly and more frequently and this system also needs to punish those who abusive the report/kick system.
  • Everyone wants crates and everyone hates cheaters, why not get rewarded while getting rid of the cheaters?!

I see what you mean, i forgot this game is full of people who rather choose the easy way than just play the game to reach somewhere, ofc it has its pros and cons, thats exactly why GMs are for ahah, all i did was taking the first step, the final concept could be a lot different
  • I don't agree with the rewards because everyone is going to be reporting yes or no.
By cons if the community denounces all cheaters, and they are banned, 1 faith, 2 times, 3 times, they will stop cheating, and they will play normally.

    Agree 100%.
On the CFBR forums we had the same argument some time ago before (pre in-game report) and what i said was more or less what you said and that it probably would increase the number of cheaters in the game.

Now that there's an in-game report system the reward i can imagine is increasing the amount of times you can report per day and/or decreasing the time it takes to cooldown.
