Hi everyone, it's not like i feel CF is gonna end so soon, but i just checked the Lost Saga(old game that shares the same publisher as CF's(Z8Games)) forum, and it seems to me that Z8Games just gave up on the game, why? I don't really know exactly but i can bet it was due to low number of players, the most interesting part is that till the end, there were no warnings and players were left in the dark when the game's fate was already decided, so, don't be surprised if at any moment the same thing happeans to CF.

Btw, just wanted to congratulate Z8Games decision to implement in-game hack report, good job, that just made my day when i knew about that, i'm back in the game.

The games always end their life when the percentage of players in the game decreases a lot, but when our release ends, I know that the developed version of Smilegate CF started to spread

I don't think the developers will give up on us soon enough. We are still alot of people playing the game, at least a good amount of servers active every day (maximum 3 servers which is like 30 channels full + ranked matches which are divided throughout MENA, Europe and NA servers. The game is still going for long and still going strong. I understand that the cheating has gone a bit too far but the in-game reporting system has helped alot of members on reporting unfair players. It has worked wonders for me dozens of times, and the feel when you get the message confirmation that the person you reported is gone, you know you're feeling great.

I'm in no worry about what could happen. We all need to expect what they'll throw at us, and complain less, no matter how bad things might be at this moment.

I totally agree with you, that's why i started by saying that i didn't think CF is gonna end so soon, my point was that at any moment, if things turn bad and someone decided to shutdown CF, don't expect any warning even you just spent 100€ a day before the shutdown.

Yes and no. I would invite you to do some research about it, but let me tell what i know so far, there will be a multiple CF games, so far, 1 is i beta phase in china only, and some people believe it will be china exclusively, i don't know, and there's other CF game exclusive for Xbox, it's all confusing, because they're doing multiple games with basically the same name and they aim for different markets, i think in total there's going to be 3 different new CFs(CF HD, CF X & CF2), there are trailers and/or gameplays already on YouTube.

I think you're absolutely right. In this version each channel full (On red) have 300 players on it so 30 full channels is around 9k CONCURRENT players. Who knows how many unique players login daily/monthly.
I don't agree when people say that a low player base alone can just end the game. As long as there are a few whales maintaining the profit the game is fine. There are games on steam with 100, 200, 300 players the whole day that used to peak at 10k, 15k or more and i don't think they're closing their doors they just scaled down servers/personnel.

Crossfire still have a long way to go. And it goes both ways, still have a long time of joy and a lot to improve.
