Crossfire is OVER
First of all, Z8 don't care about crossfire anymore. If they want any new ZP recharges, they would've fixed hackers issue by now(its been a month now).
Second, new players are uninstalling the game AND old players are leaving(if they haven't left already).
If you just joined crossfire and got killed by hackers under the ground in your first couple of games, are you going to stay? No, you uninstall the game.
Virus, a most-viewed crossfire Youtuber, left crossfire 3 weeks ago because of hackers. Other Youtuber/influencers are following his steps and start streaming other FPS games.
Crossfire is OVER. Good luck getting SMASHED by hackers.

I don't see the game being down or down soon. There is still many people playing it, and at least 2-3 full servers each day. Game is very alive currently, despite the large hack wave.
They recently added the in-game reporting system which is helping 100 times more than hack report through tickets. You even get a confirmation that the person you reported was banned in the in-game, which makes you motivated to report who's actually cheating.
The only thing that whoever is in charge of the anti hack shield is to patch the hacks that bypass it. That's the only thing that they need to do. The tools we have to report cheaters is enough to make them banned. -

i do get what the other guy is saying. i feel like you mean 2-3 full channels though, i quit this game back in 2014/15 or somewhere around there and alpha/bravo/charlie were pretty full all the time so i know what a healthy/populated CF looks like and this sure isn't anywhere near that. it may not be dead but its extremely crippled and i dont see anything coming thats going to bring a mass wave of returning/new players. i saw 1 server "mostly full" once or twice but that's it, and im excluding EU servers purely because i dont enjoy playing the game with over 100 ping. i personally think some of the new content is cool, but what's the point in recharging ZP if there's barely anyone to play the game with? CFHD is probably the only thing people are going to come back to play whenever that hits north america, but that wont be for a little while as i think its only due to come out this year in china only. it's just hard to stay on a ship that's so consistently sinking by the looks of things (compared to what they used to be) and it just doesn't look like they're ever going to magically spring back to being a fully populated game.
just an honest opinion from someone who used to play this game back when it was thriving lol -

what's the point giving CPR to a dead person ?
cf is dead, any new content won't do anything to the game and won't save it, people now won't spend 80$ for a virtual weapon, the old mentality has changed as new games came and new setups has been set, everyone now can run new games on their pc's and can buy in-game money for less 8 times cheaper than CF, if you put this into account people who play the game now playing it cause they have spend money or cheaters/macros who want to have fun demoleshing others, the best option left for CF is to hire better marketing people, new better people to manage the game + forums, drop zp price to something near any other game like 10$ instead of 80$ ( i aint paying a cent even if they do so) this way they can get a better come back, lastly they should make better content and 2 weeks updates.. etc, however doing this now with the battle between new games is useless, smilegate will just lose money for nothing
as a person who used and was playing cf i hope they close it and call it a happy end for the game or they will lose more in the future -

Some of us, would actually like to keep playing CF. For me who does it because I love the game-modes and the weapon collecting and that the game is free to play (with a choice to invest), there is no alternative out there that even comes close. Even if there were a new game like CF, I doubt i start playing it. I simply don't have the energy to start from the beginning.JackPain (Sweden) -

for me i see it as the best option left for CF, even i feel the same way you do, ive been playing CF since back 2011 in EU and NA, i quit due the bad management and lack of content plus false bans and false chargebacks this company do, gm's are just helping the players who spend money on the game and ban anyone better than them even knowing those spenders are cheating... this game should just die or get a new company work on it cause z8 had its chance and it failed, i salute subagames since they knew the game will fail in the future... and fortnite is good tho as an altern for CF, pubg and many games are way better, blacksquad which is f2p with same csgo system is good too and no cheaters and good community and no problems with the games
u just cant accept the idea of your time and money going in an instant, you should give up since that day will come soon or later, better to let it go rather than waiting their fake sorry lol, its not first time for me to see a game end, i can only say it was good years for CF -

I don't like battle-royal games or third-person shooters, so the first 2 are out for me. Blacksquad, doesn't have ZM which is one of my favorite CF modes, so that's out to. As i said, to me there is no alternative. I will probably go back to playing single-player RPG's and adventure games if CF closes (and if there is no transfer of accounts, with all stuff in game and profile stats to a newer game).JackPain (Sweden) -

Crossfire is done, after 7 years - it has only gotten worse, if not for the pay2win, then for it's age - it's over like what 13 years old or something? I liked Crossfire, but let's face the facts - they do not care no matter what we do, now do they? I have already left CF, even though thinking about going back..I remember all of the suffering because of either lagg or fps.. shots that do not count.......

This support team must do something good pretty soon if they want to keep the profits, game experience is not the best nowadays and its true In Game Reporting System may help to reduce the Hack situation, but the server performance is another topic they will need to invest $$ big time.
There is a lot of content still to come to our version that can attract old/new players but they have to offer us a good game experience as well. (enhanced servers)
With this new Reporting system the ball is on our side, is up to us to use it wisely and stop the hack from spreading.
Also whats I dislike from CF West team is that they dont even bother to accept the situation and step out with some action points short term to make our game better (unlike other versions... *cof *cof) -
Crossfire is at it's knees right now, doesn't everyone agree? Like.. It's 2020, and with people not only leaving, but also getting better PC-s as they are getting more affordable - it is only logical that people will move on and forget about this game.

there's many alt to CF tho and CSGO is one of them , it has ZM and lot of modes , even cs 1.6 does , you just don't want to admit and this is another thing , prob blacksquad will have zm in the near future

CFHD will die in china and they won't be able to release it world wide cause it will die too , CF may have big playerbase but most of it is china , if cfhd fails in china then their whole project fails and releasing world wide won't give them any profit cause people will be hyped first months and then they will leave , if smilegate wanted to success worldwide and have more players and investment they should've listen to their players at least , look at tencent for example and what they are doing with cf china , simply they had a chance and they just failed to see itThis support team must do something good pretty soon if they want to keep the profits, game experience is not the best nowadays and its true In Game Reporting System may help to reduce the Hack situation, but the server performance is another topic they will need to invest $$ big time.

smilegate ( berlin ) and z8games has been merged together and now koreans are running the game , so bothering with GM's is useless as they cna't do anything without talking to their korean supervisor which he reports back to his upper then to the CEO who seem to be korean , the enviroment in z8games isn't good anymore for anyone who isn't korean as koreans has the upper hand now and many has left the company due to this cause you can't talk to the CEO without getting approved plus being able to talk korean lol , simply they played themselves... i have been in contact with some old people who worked on z8games and they said this , plus glassdoor reviews and linkedin..etc

Has CS become a F2P game? + Another thing that made me choose CF from the beginning, is that it felt more casual. I wanna be able to sit and relax when I am playing these days (most times anyways). Playing Crossfire, I am always listening to an audio-book at the same-time and often eat or write with one hand between kills. I doubt there are many online games that let me do that and not get completely crushed.JackPain (Sweden) -

Crossfire is OVER. Good luck getting SMASHED by hackers.
Yet people like you continue to post things like this in the Forum pages.
There is a report option in-game for this exact reason, so that disgruntled players can report hackers in their games and get them removed.
If you don't like the game and think Crossfire is "Over", then you should let it die and move on, instead of harassing people in their threads spamming links to this Post. -
I think the faster they close the game, the better. Many players correctly have requests that their moderators close their eyes and ears. Many of my friends came from Europe and did not understand why they were permanently banned from playing hacks and had pretty good weapons, in my opinion, this is the only reason for prohibiting them from using their weapons. None of them received specific proof.

Reasons CF is dying:
- UK/German community is basically non existent anymore. Game is invaded by mostly arab countrys.
- Crossfire NA and EU were merged. Why? Declining playerbase 100%
- The game is ~12 years old and did not improve over time like games of similar age. Graphics/Netcode still stuck in 2010
- Back in the days it was pretty pretty rare getting free crates. (I remember an event were you had to grind the whole weekend to get THREE m4a1-s Patriot crates. Nowadays you get free crates everywhere and anytime.
- ZP Bonus. Nowadays there are almost monthly 50% bonus ZP recharge events. Back in the days you rarely got 10% bonus zp if any.
- Just check forum activity. Even the latest Post in the biggest Thread is 3 Days old.
- Have you tried playing a Clan-war? Almost impossible.

Old school runescape let’s you do those things -
It literally did. Back in 2018 i believe.
Wait, you're trying to use ZP Bonus and free crates in events as reason why there are less people playing?
Pretty sure he means it’s dying so people in charge are adding more of those things to keep or attract players. Whereas years ago those things were very limited because players didn’t need incentives to log whereas today majority of the playerbase riot if events don’t give out enough crates so in turn they add crates to keep them happy.
My opinion yeah games dead but I’ll play whenever I have free time, I’ve only known CF and runescape growing up sucks seeing cf like this, but better to enjoy it now before it’s actually gone. -

it is f2p now , plus it's only 15$ and you can get it even for less , i got it for 5$ from a chinese reseller, CS has more playerbase than CF even and latest updates are good , your reasoning is kinda weak to be honest it doesn't convince anyone lol , did you even bother checking how CS is doing now ? i doubt ...I think the faster they close the game, the better. there's players which are friends with gm's who cry and report anyone kills them to perm ban them for no reason , i know some players who are using cheats and gm's are aware of them and until now they are not banned cause they are the spenders ... -

Ok. I wouldn't know . I've looked at some CS stuff over the years, but the last time i played was in 2000 or 2001. Haven't been drawn in to try it since. I started out in my first Quake-Clan when I was 10 or 11. When CS came out I remember thinking it was the ****tiest game I have ever seen and it's players sucked (I loved Half-Life though). It was simply too slow-going for an FPS-Multiplayer in both mine and my gaming-friends eyes. We played our matches like speed-runs not thinking, just reacting and killing. + All of us thought the weapons were totally unimaginative. A bit funny when you think about it, when I years later joined this CS-clone, which I liked a lot more. But It took a lot of convincing by younger friends, to try out this game in the first place, as it looked like a clone of a game I despised. I don't think it was until they released Mutant-Mode or Escape that I finally got hooked.oSasuke*** wrote: »

As for the reason I state, they actually are my personal reasons, I'm not trying to convince anyone, as people have different reasons of why they play. I'm not interested in the competitive part of games anymore (There are some short moments that I can feel the urge though). For me it's all about relaxing and having fun. As for why I wouldn't play CS even if I got paid for it, you can read the answer to TrobMakr in this post. I know it's irrational, but even now I still have a lot of hate for CS, just simply because it was "The Enemy" to us Quake and Unreal players back then.JackPain (Sweden)
