This actually doesn't help who uses windowed mode because it really doesn't do anything :P
But it's a good tutorial for those who need stable FPS. Still, other FPS issues might be related to anything else, so most people will try this not be the reason why they have FPS drops. -
did you manage to do everything that i listed? if you did maybe check if your drivers are up to date
I have had this problem for almost 3 years. My windows 10 64 bit is up to date, version 1909, OS build 18363.657, 16 Gb ram kingston 2600, GeForce gtx 1070 Ti, intel i5 9400f, motherboard B360 Aorus Gaming 3, monitor AOC 2590G5 g-sync compatible 75 hz All drivers are up to date, I have 1000 Gbit internet speed. I tried all resolutions 1920x1080, 1024x768, with high or low textures, NOTHING WORKED. -
I Knew some people who had issues like that whit good computers because they had imported a windows from an overdrive that ran on other pc whit different specs, witch made the new computer run whit fps drops or 100 disk usage so i highly recommend to install fresh windows so the system gets configured according to new specs.
