New Ribbon: King Mode

Attention Mercenaries!

Many might call themselves "King" but only a few can be true "Emperors"!

Those who have been successful in King Mode and have become King at least 250 times will be awarded new Emperor Ribbon!

This is a lifetime achievement ribbon and all previous games where you have become being King have been accounted for.

King Mode will be available until the February Update and will return on a yearly basis, so you can continue your progress if you missed it this time.

Be royal and get this rare ribbon!

i know ribbons are suppost to be hard to earn... but 250? an 8 player room, not including cheaters, in a 30 - 45 minute battle, in a limited time event¿? this is just asking for the cheaters to prosper and fill these rooms. I highly doubt that a large number of LEGITIMATE players will ever earn this.

If king mode was not limited time, then mayhaps... but do you really think that players that cant complete this, will want to next time, or beyond... Have any GM or MODS played king mode and all of its ridiculousness... I mean... its the worse mode CF has ever made... and cringe at the effort this is going to take in a dying game....

I could see mayhaps 100 - 150 in a month or less before it goes... and those that dont have days or long periods to play, might be able to earn this ribbon, and not just have to worry that, any room they join, is going to be filled with cheaters, completely making that 30 - 45 minutes of time wasted, while the cheaters just jump in and out of rooms taking all the wins.

I applaud the attempt to add more ribbons, i need to re collect them, this just needs a wee bit more though... its not like its zombie mode or mm where people can just join a room and get the win at the end, this one you have to win all by yourself, and if its a ping, higher ranked player, better equipped player, or just plain cheater players, fighting it all out, the average or less players have no chance to get 1 win, let alone 250.

Wow yeaaaaah let's go !!! We need more pay to win events, more useless ribbon events ! Let's ignore the hackers in the ranked games who have been there for over 2 months now. They even cheat on pub games. It's freaking unplayable and yet u just put out some lame trash events. Keep up the great work CF staff !

We know that this is a hard ribbon to get but let me explain a little more the stats that you see on your profile because this might be confusing for some of you.

On your profile, you will find "Successful Missions". Those are not the matches played but the rounds you won when you were not a Commander.

Again, we know it's challenging but you can keep working on this ribbon still next time King Mode is open and will not lose any progress.

Come on 250 wins where we have to play for more than average of 15 mins is bit too much. I can't do it in a year rather than in a month

Its nice that we can see new Ribbons, but limited time offerings are NOT good even if they will come back every year, I think they are boring and not worth my time.
Also this boring mode makes this new Ribbons very uninteresting.
Event worse, I believe this only promotes farming.
Hope we can see more Ribbons that are fun to do and call us to play the game like the good ol' days

With all my respect... It's a great event but needs little modifications as you are asking for 250 times as a king .. It's not really that easy if you play regularly and I don't mean being not good but becoming a king is such a hard thing to get as it has many random shoots and you don't know who will shoot you it's a mode challenging itself so putting a very difficult achievement to get won't help it at all actually .. we can make it a little bit easier with not that many times that's my opinion

and it's not that hard as you think it's, old players at least got 100 of them, maybe it's going to be a bit hard for the new accounts.

Ok. King-mode is one of the Casual-Player modes I actually think is fun for a couple of games (compared to the loathsome sheep and parkour which I hate). But as I suck at the mode, I also have never managed to get a win, so this is not a ribbon for me. I guess it's a good ribbon for the few players that are super-good in King, but mostly for cheaters. Great Decision Z8;):D
