Improving Bingo 101

Greetings people o/ ,

I will not spill the chatter and will actually address an elephant in the room : Bingo events.

There is a reason why F2P (or people who cash-in lesser amounts just to support the game a little) dislike Bingo the most. Event like "Spin the Wheel" gives players a chance at obtaining a permanent prize, as well as any junk item from a single free spin, unlike Bingo. In Bingo-type event, you have to collect a row, rolling 5 numbers out of the given row from the possible 100 numbers (which repeats on top of that) and you have to pray that the number will belong to the row with a junkie prize in it. I think you see the problem there... I know that Bingo weapons are more of a value, but still.... Anyways, there is how to fix it in a way without reducing revenue by that much as well :

Suggestion 1: Adding a Free slot in the middle

Since Bingo event is based on American Version (will get to it later) of Bingo, it uses 5x5 grid, simple solution with a great start would be adding a "Free" slot in the middle of it, like the usual Bingos do.

Suggestion 2: American Bingo rules

In Suggestion 1 I mentioned "American Bingo Version" , and it probably got you confused. Since the Grid is 5x5 already, it's 1/3 of the way being American Bingo as well. What it needs is a simple tweak of
A typical Bingo game utilizes the numbers 1 through 75. The five columns of the card are labeled 'B', 'I', 'N', 'G', and 'O' from left to right. The center space is usually marked "Free" or "Free Space", and is considered automatically filled. The range of printed numbers that can appear on the card is normally restricted by column, with the 'B' column only containing numbers between 1 and 15 inclusive, the 'I' column containing only 16 through 30, 'N' containing 31 through 45, 'G' containing 46 through 60, and 'O' containing 61 through 75. - Wikipedia
, however let the numbers be scrambled all over the board. By rolling numbers 1 to 75, there is a higher chance to complete the board, due to reduction of the rolled numbers by 25%, as well as needing only 33.3% of the numbers instead of usual 25%.

Suggestion 3: Combining both suggestion for true Bingo experience

By using our precious Polymerization card, we can combine these two into a final conclusion. Example (Imgur link because limitation sucks) : https://imgur.com/IBLJJ2e

  • Amazing suggestion +1 this could be easily implemented for a better event experience

I would add a cherry on top with this: get 1 free shuffle coin at the beginning or being able to select the main prize before start playing. What do you think?
Having to sort out duplicate numbers in the board while playing is a big pain to the head.
  • +1 Bingo as it is now is absolutely not interresting. also theres for me no reason to grind ingametime or waste 500k gp. cause i know it end up in Nothing.
otherwise. your (our) Suggestion here means less profit for Z8. . .
  • My idea of improvisation is to make stages growing one by one. So at first stage you have numbers from 1 to 40 and main prise is only for 15d, Second stage are 1-60 and have some better prises and so on. At least that bingo will be consumer friendly and actually bring passion for game.

It's more or less for attracting people. If I would've wanted to rip Z8 from all the profit, I would've suggested to rip the "Duplicate Number" thing, which strangely isn't in regular Bingo as far as I know, but you know, one step at a time...
