Harsher Punishment for Cheaters
This ranked season is worse than Season 6+7 combined, you are guaranteed 3 wallers looking at each other before prefiring and shoulder peeking. Besides the point, there should be harder punishments specifically for cheating, my assumption is that cheating is 30 Days Suspension for 1st offense, then Permanent Suspension for 2nd.
Reminder this should only be for a cheating offense.
The 1st offense should be EVEN more harsher, my proposal is to de-level cheaters and 30 Day Suspension. They should be demoted to Sergeant First Class 6th Grade (Level 21/104), because Ranked requires Second Lieutenant 1st Grade (Level 28/104), for regular users you are set back a month+ of progress. Even if they are Grand Marshall, all EXP is lost and reset. This punishment further escalates the risk to cheating for higher rank players. The only problem I see in this is false-positives, and VVIP users just boosting within a day after 30 Day Suspension, but once they are caught for the second time it's Permanent Suspension anyways. Another issue might be hacked or sold accounts. You can't do anything about that, it's up to the original account owner to send a ticket and try to claim it back. Another layer is to remove any reward they got during that season like MP (Yes, make them have negative MP) and win rewards.
Any rank below Master Sergeant 1st Grade suspended will just follow regular 30 Day Suspension because their cheating doesn't affect Ranked matches which should be the upmost priority.

Hey, also outsource replay watchers, guarantee that if you have a reward system, players would watch replays. Have CS:GO's Overwatch system in practuce, if multiple people agree the person was cheating then that replay goes to the top of priority for GMs.
Why are we protecting the cancer of the game, give them harder punishments. It also doesn't help that Replays crash every minute.
Also I'm bumping everyday until I get a response from a GM, the lack of communication is why we see 10+ threads on cheating every week.

The support team is also working on this, but they do not have enough time for the immediate punishment, so the percentage of players here is more than Brazil and also the majority of cheaters are Arabs.

Your first bag will always have a Rifle with a pistol that shoots blank with a knife that can't even hurt anyone with Dud Grenades 2nd bag a sniper rifle that shoot blank with the same pistol as bag 1 with the same nades bag 3 a Shotgun that only shoot one pallet and deal 0 damage with the same pistol and nades and repeat.. Also when having the complete set you cannot pick up weapons from crates. The best part the cheaters might not notice it at first and their deaths will count making them wonder if it a bug and might ask support for help.

true most of cheaters are arabsjust restrict all arabs to mena server and 90% of the cheating problem is solved. let them ruin their own server but not ours

If there's only 1 thread about not cheating in-game, almost nobody is going to care or bother to follow the rules. If you implement harder punishments and put red flags everywhere, including different languages, for cheating then you'll see some change. I listed a multitude of other things Z8 can do, if this is their job to keep players happy in order for them to be comfortable in buying ZP and spending it, why aren't all the resources pointed to that main problem. There's a lack of communication, and Discord can't make up for that communication. -

No it's not a race issue, the wave of cheaters are always the majority of the players. Before Arabic people, it was Brazilians that were all cheating until they got their version, before that it was EU before they got their own version also, before that it was the USA. It's always been the majority of players will have the higher amount of hackers, because obviously they are biggest amount of players. Obviously there are outliers and a cheater can be from anywhere non-region blocked, but the majority of cheaters will always be the biggest region playing the most.

Blocking thier account will just cause them to make another one while using my punishment will give them a false hope at start making them think they got away but in reality they became useless and they might even contact support stating their issue which is how they get you. -
Well,even tho I agree with all of your suggestions,I don't really know...I truly hate hackers with with passion just like everyone else,but on the other hand the people who make threads like this like "GM's please increase the daily reports limit from 5 to 100 so we can send more reports daily" are the same people who send 9999 reports a day and report other players for bs reasons that are not necessary "hacking" but other things like innocent "afk boters" that just farm ep without harm anyone or for "racism" for write the word "egy" on the chat,or any other bs reason,and making them pay with their account only because of their sh11te character...so I can't really say what I feel about this,since report hackers is good,but there are also lots of kids(way too many).
Btw - to those people -if the GM's see you send multiple reports daily then they may temp ban 1 or 2 cases from ur reports but in some point when they see you are that kind of a person who just "spam reports" for your own sake then they would just stop taking you seriously and just give you a copy paste and let you keep waste your time sending reports,and also sending 1000 reports a day may make your own account banned or suspended from dumb reports -

I don't think it's only the company-policy, it might even be the country's internet privacy laws. They have become stricter in many country's in the last year. That's why every webpage you try to access on the internet today, have pop-ups that you have to agree to, before accessing the page.
West might have the same company as CF-BRZ but it's different departments and at least the servers are based in Brazil (so the laws can differ).
To make it legal enough to cover their own a's, they have to have a player agree to the possibility of being outed publicly, when the player are creating an account. Which make it a problem if the account is already created (though not impossible to do it afterwards, if they want to play. But it depends on the court's ruling, if they are taken to court and I wouldn't take the chance if it was my company). For new accounts, it would work.
This part is only meant as a what if, for thought.
Now when internet/web laws keep getting stricter (which they do in most countries. it might be that, soon anyone who wants to enter any kind of contract online (which means any pop-up or like that says "click this if you agree to the terms"), will have to be of legal age for entering a contract (don't know if it is the age in the country he/she lives or if it is where the company who want you to enter a contract is based), he/she can also enter the contract with a parent/guardian's permission. But they would also have to prove their age with a legal online ID. Just think how hard it will be for an online game like CF to exist legally, as the player-base, is at large, underage.
Internet freedom and anonymity will be a thing of the past. I don't think it will happen in the next 5 years, but it might in the next 20, if idiots keep on voting for harder internet/web laws.
By the way, isn't all cheaters who get punished, perma banned these days?

Those restrictions and policies are only to save the companies ass because they were caught selling your data, now all they have to do is ask your permission and you have the choice to say no. This doesn't apply to CrossFire anyway, there's no sensitive information given out or displayed when literally only your IGN is displayed on a webpage in list form. Plus, the accounts are Z8Games property anyways since trading accounts is illegal. So them displaying an IGN isn't infringing on someone's personal information.
And I know for a fact that it's not a permanent ban for 1st offense, before the new soldier page, when it said last online etc. This waller that I reported was only banned for 30 days and was back after that because I bookmarked their soldier page. Whether they are still cheating or not, I don't know. I'm ok with second chances, but the first offense should be a punch to the gut instead of a slap on the wrist. -

As i doubt anyone has taken a company to court for shaming their web-persona yet, It might actually still be possible. When or if someone do, the web-laws may change again. What I am getting at, is that the purpose of a law, might have other consequences, depending on the wording. I am no expert in web-law, especially not in another country's laws. It is only a speculation on how the wind will blow in the future and what actions a company might take before it becomes a law, to cover their a's.
It has been discussed that as internet game-avatars become so important and personal, especially for the younger generations. An infraction (like slander) between two or more players might become punishable by the law, in the not so distant future as it seems. This is probably because of the cyber-bulling has become a more sensitive subject in many countries. As the virtual world and the real world becomes more closely connected, so does it's laws. For those of you saying we need to give cheaters longer punishments, just as a heads up once you're caught cheating its a permanent ban of the account. Some people have said they seen a cheater banned for 30 days, this has not happened within the last 5 years of me working here - cheating as long as I have been here has always been a 'one and done' policy. Ive been playing crossfire since 2006, lost my first account, Gm / Admin team refused to help get it back, only saying put in more support tickets to admin team, and ive put in many with pictures and credit card statments, and still nothing, so i had to re - start this from scratch with this account.... but enough about me, this is about cheating....
To start, when mutant mode first came out, people hid in boxes so mutants couldnt mutate them, People have automatic AWP / and Autoglocks, Before the glock was even re leased.... Then The cheaters would just spin in spawn and shoot anything trough walls.... The long Knife cheats, And the rest through out the ages, to come to this point...
Z8 game in NA doesnt care and never has, Many years dealing with cheaters, and they all know CF WEST doesnt care about cheaters, unless they get tons of reports and have to do something, cheaters will always be here... even after they get banned from other CF server, they come to CF WEST, becuase they know they will get away with it always.
People have been asking for harsher punshiments for cheaters... but the saddest part is... if you get ride of all the cheaters in CF WEST, thats like 65% of the remaining player base, making it more to the death of CF WEST, as even if it was like back in its glory days where you had to fight to get into any server, now most are dead, unless at peak times in EU delta or NA delta... those are like the only two active servers...
Im from canada, and i play on the EU servers, as there are 90% less cheaters, and more pro players there, and have gotten 202+ ZM nightmare victories on Eu server, winning 4 ak busters, 3 m4 lasers, 200 m4 lasers pieces and 1 GG-WS so far... enough jewels to upgrade one m4 laser to gold. So even though my ping is 200+ i still win, because i found a place to play and players that dont condone cheater, and kick out the cheaters once they enter the room. NA Delta servers, dont, they just want to win and not have to play with a losing team, so they dont kick out or report the cheaters, and then once you do get a mission that requires you to get kills, and need to go into a PVP room, you'll find players under the map shooting you, or beatting you down with a gold brick... Or worst of all, cheaters that have VIP weapons.... truly showing that Z* west only care about money, and the more you spend, the more you get away with...
I will always enjoy this game as long as there is a group of non toxic players, but once that is over, and this place is nothing but cheaters... im Done, and taking my money elsewhere... theres no point in supporting a game anymore where you can just goto a certain website, download the cheat tool, and go hard... no cease or desist, no counter measures... even though the cheats are there to be downloaded and analysed... they dont, becuase they need a place for the toxic players to go...
They should rename CF west to CF Toxic, as i am going to guess there is about a 90% chance that CF West will always be this bad, and will never get better as it always has been this bad..
Even back in the days of GM Sladin.... when they tried hard to stop cheaters... they just came out harder and cheats faster... People hate USA, and Z8 West is USA based, so all the countries that hate NA, will be here to make our lives hell, instead of playing in the server that give them better pings or better connections, because its the one way they can.
Back in the day there was talk about region locking the servers... that never happened...
So in conclusion, Cheaters have always been there, will always be there, and no matter how many people on the harsher punishiment band wagon... It will never happen... Even if there was enough GM / MODS / ADMINS to run things... you never see them in game, becuase Z8 doenst pay Gm / Admins to do that, they just do forums. Back in the day, you could run into a GM / MOD / ADMIN in games from time to time, and they would award you with items and things sometimes... now, they are not seen, nor see the state of the game personally, and even if they could... Would they want to? think of all the crap they get here... imagine it in game...
Ill be going down with this dying boat, but people... you gotta remember or know... this isnt new, its always been, and if you cant accept that, its time to change games, as this game wont change for you. -

Thanks for the reply, it still begs the question. Why is only the account banned, and not have further consequences. And what others steps are being taken to increase the protection of the game as a whole, is there a better anti-cheat coming? Are you shutting down cheat sites that host it? Is there a better report system coming? -

I agree with your points and questions,they only tell us "we working on it" and "we do banning hackers" for years,while in practice nothing really happens for reduce the hack waves every time it resurrected.there were tons of suggestions over the years and nothing happens in practice;no other (new)ways to report like in game report system,no any new feature in game against hackers,no gm's patrol,no email verification for create accounts for restrict hackers from creating new accounts,no hardware ban,they don't even bother to contact youtube/facebook support for close all the "egyptians groups" in there that sharing accounts and hacks and af.k bots between each other...we do want with all of our heart to be believe they do care and do ban hackers,but while we see 0 zero actual deeds and 0 improvements and 0 solutions for years,and when we see the same people we reported a year ago still playing,and while we getting instant killed behind the wall in the first game of the day we join to(just 5 minuets after we read a gm saying "we do banning"),it's just hard for us to believe

Unfortunately hwid bans are not possible since you can spoof any modern component hwid. What I am waiting for is for crossfire developers to make their own cheat and release the trojan horse.

Z8 game in NA doesnt care and never has, Many years dealing with cheaters, and they all know CF WEST doesnt care about cheaters, unless they get tons of reports and have to do something, cheaters will always be here... even after they get banned from other CF server, they come to CF WEST, becuase they know they will get away with it always.
People have been asking for harsher punshiments for cheaters... but the saddest part is... if you get ride of all the cheaters in CF WEST, thats like 65% of the remaining player base, making it more to the death of CF WEST, as even if it was like back in its glory days where you had to fight to get into any server, now most are dead, unless at peak times in EU delta or NA delta... those are like the only two active servers...
Im from canada, and i play on the EU servers, as there are 90% less cheaters, and more pro players there, and have gotten 202+ ZM nightmare victories on Eu server, winning 4 ak busters, 3 m4 lasers, 200 m4 lasers pieces and 1 GG-WS so far... enough jewels to upgrade one m4 laser to gold. So even though my ping is 200+ i still win, because i found a place to play and players that dont condone cheater, and kick out the cheaters once they enter the room. NA Delta servers, dont, they just want to win and not have to play with a losing team, so they dont kick out or report the cheaters, and then once you do get a mission that requires you to get kills, and need to go into a PVP room, you'll find players under the map shooting you, or beatting you down with a gold brick... Or worst of all, cheaters that have VIP weapons.... truly showing that Z* west only care about money, and the more you spend, the more you get away with...
I will always enjoy this game as long as there is a group of non toxic players, but once that is over, and this place is nothing but cheaters... im Done, and taking my money elsewhere... theres no point in supporting a game anymore where you can just goto a certain website, download the cheat tool, and go hard... no cease or desist, no counter measures... even though the cheats are there to be downloaded and analysed... they dont, becuase they need a place for the toxic players to go...
They should rename CF west to CF Toxic, as i am going to guess there is about a 90% chance that CF West will always be this bad, and will never get better as it always has been this bad..
Even back in the days of GM Sladin.... when they tried hard to stop cheaters... they just came out harder and cheats faster... People hate USA, and Z8 West is USA based, so all the countries that hate NA, will be here to make our lives hell, instead of playing in the server that give them better pings or better connections, because its the one way they can.
Back in the day there was talk about region locking the servers... that never happened...
So in conclusion, Cheaters have always been there, will always be there, and no matter how many people on the harsher punishiment band wagon... It will never happen... Even if there was enough GM / MODS / ADMINS to run things... you never see them in game, becuase Z8 doenst pay Gm / Admins to do that, they just do forums. Back in the day, you could run into a GM / MOD / ADMIN in games from time to time, and they would award you with items and things sometimes... now, they are not seen, nor see the state of the game personally, and even if they could... Would they want to? think of all the crap they get here... imagine it in game...
Ill be going down with this dying boat, but people... you gotta remember or know... this isnt new, its always been, and if you cant accept that, its time to change games, as this game wont change for you.

Can't believe i've to reply to such rubbish... It's literally the worst explanation i've seen in my whole time i'm playing CF. You think they let people get away with cheating?
You think GM's aren't aware of the whole situation and don't play at all? I can say without a doubt that each and every GM has at least 2 accounts in Crossfire.
Hard to believe? Ask any GM. Katfish i.e. has more than 2 accounts.
Why don't you see any GM ingame? Because they're busy dealing with reports and other stuff like games their own company and HQ gives them to work on. And because of the fact, that some GM's are actually playing with their private accounts to observe and test.
They are in fact well aware of the whole situation and are desperately trying to do at least something.
Of course everyone is frustrated about the situation right now and even on UK4/EU Delta you aren't safe when it comes to cheaters.
Yes, everyone with some knowledge on how to spot and get rid of cheating people will do their best to get them at least out of the room, but there's another problem with those who actually use cheats. They try to convince their own country people that they're legit by saying something like "using a headset".
Yes, it is total bull**** of course, but many of these players either do believe them or don't understand english pretty well, which is another big issue.
Region locked btw? Many europeans were forced to play CF EU or even other versions, because some Head GM decided it'd be a good idea to split the community apart. It was so hard split back in 2011 and so hard pushed in arabic speaking countries, that the majority of european players just lost their interest in playing the game.
Not to mention splitting the european community apart as well with more different versions like CF PT/ES.
Many bad decisions were made back then when the game was actually about to become really popular, but you can't blame the actual GM team for this. I'm glad they gave CF EU players the opportunity to bring their accounts over to NA and they did a lot of awesome things on the EU server. Big thanks for that btw to Celestine, Katfish and many more. ❤️
They have a lot of work to do and we should support them rather than stabbing their backs.
