Why wouldn't he? I guess you never played any big and popular game before? They give you way more free stuff on Christmas and New Year days only for logging so you don't have to waste much time playing on these important days when you could stay with family and friends.
It doesn't cost them a thing really, it's about being nice to your community.

This event is the perfect example of how disgusting Z8 is as a company (at least on this West version, Brazil has the better end of Z8).

One more thing to keep in mind: it's not like they gave / will give us (in the rest of the year) the win rates on Black Market that every other version has, so I'm going to (virtually) spit on them and their 5 free crates.
