General topics regarding the Black Market

Hey there,

I am well aware that there are several other threads on this kind of topic, but I feel the need to have them centralized with some of my personal thoughts on the subject.
So here it goes:

1. I agree that there should be a certain difficulty in obtaining a permanent gun, however, the odds are always against the player. I agree that it is not that fun if everyone is running around with the same weapons won from the BM and there has to be that certain uniqueness for each gun, but come on, it is way to expensive to spin for your dream collection.

2. I've read that one of the GMs posted in another thread that the BM system is based purely on luck. Lets face it, there is no such thing as luck in a pre-programmed game. Considering the fact that 95% of the time one cannot get a permanent gun even after spinning 100 crates (for the sake of simplicity we will consider 100 crates to be worth 100K ZP) we are getting into VIP cost territory. Which, I my view, does not justify the outrageously low win rate. Put that aside and ask yourself, isn't it much more effective to buy a VIP instead and get all the perks of the gun ?

3. Talking about the win rate, I am sure you are all fed up with the even lower win rate for the GP guns. I personally spined over 1200 crates for the M16 Camo or some sniper/shotgun. M4A1 costs 42K GP (as far as I remember) which was a widely used gun and if we make a quick computation we can reach to the conclusion that 1200 crates translates to around 1.92 million GP (that was before they added the 200 crate purchase possibility) which is absurd for a weapon.

4. I have noticed that I usually need to buy around 250-300 MP crates to win a permanent item. I believe that the same win rate applies to the regular BM crates. The same amount of crates on the BM would cost around 180K-200K ZP and again, I could compare this to why not buy a VIP instead, just like above.

5. Speaking of the MP crates, why should one spend 30K MP for 10 crates that contain 3 permanent items? I mean its not like you win 3 permanent items at once and I believe you have the same chance of winning.

6. Another thing that caught my attentions is that the crates received for playing 2 hours every weekend had higher win rates, in my case at least.

7. I can also add that others have also noticed that lower ranks have higher chances of winning which is not fair.

8. One thing I would like to see is GP crates for permanent clothing items (goggles, hats, etc.)

9. Obviously, everyone would like a higher diversity in the GP BM.

All in all, I think that the current BM system is pretty broken in the player's point of view. Naturally, the GMs will not want to fix this as turning down on profit is not good for business but sometimes you have to give for better return.

Comments

  • I know they will never enhance the win rates in pro of the users, maybe when they face closure date of the game. I would be happy enough if they add a limit in BM ZP crates, lets say something about spinning 100-150 crates (of the same type) would get you at least 1 perm item from that crate. At this point is better to spend ZP over the useful VIPs to boost your game experience.

    I agree

Buying VIP's is better, but then again there are many great guns that ain't VIP. I think it is based on luck, but the winning % also seem to go up and down. Before summer I got a lot of ZP-weapons all from under 50 crates. 1 EP weapon when i spun 50 crates and all GP weapons except those on the first page (The newest ones), almost all by spending less than 200 crates each. Then I won nothing from the end of May until last month, even though i spun about the same amount of crates. Then last month I won 3 (or 4?) ZP weapons, one was a Prime, which I got in 5 free tickets. I also got 2 GP weapons from the first page.

    3. Talking about the win rate, I am sure you are all fed up with the even lower win rate for the GP guns. I personally spined over 1200 crates for the M16 Camo or some sniper/shotgun. See Above

I guess you mean EP-Crates, as there are no MP crates. When I have won on EP crates, the wins were all 50 crates or less.

    5. Speaking of the MP crates, why should one spend 30K MP for 10 crates that contain 3 permanent items? I mean its not like you win 3 permanent items at once and I believe you have the same chance of winning.

Yes I also think this is stupid (and evil), If we could win more than one weapon at a time I would understand it, but still don't like it.

    6. Another thing that caught my attentions is that the crates received for playing 2 hours every weekend had higher win rates, in my case at least.

I almost never win from those, so in my case it's no.

    7. I can also add that others have also noticed that lower ranks have higher chances of winning which is not fair.

I don't think it's about lower rank, I think It's more about that they have botting-accounts that farm a lot of EP, which mean they can spin more crates.

    8. One thing I would like to see is GP crates for permanent clothing items (goggles, hats, etc.)

I too, would like to see that.

    9. Obviously, everyone would like a higher diversity in the GP BM.

More weapons (And other stuff) is always good.

All in all, I think that the current BM system is pretty broken in the player's point of view. Naturally, the GMs will not want to fix this as turning down on profit is not good for business but sometimes you have to give for better return.

    +1 for a limit

  • I don't see any problem with the BM. Of course the winrates are "bad" and maybe you doubt the luck in this system. BUT this is the BM, you only buy crates to get a chance to win a weapon, If you don't like it than don't do it.

I see so many people crying about winrates and luck and their wasted zp. Well I tell you one thing: Gambling is always to make the provider earn money, not to make you happy.
  • so all of this rant only about the win rate?

any how I absolutely agree +1

I wonder why they ignore general threads like this and doesn't reply to them any more : (( when some one talk about "cf hd" or " or "making a shaming to a certain hacker" then it takes them less than 5 minuets to delete and infract .but when it comes to really important things about it game issues - like win rate/hackers/errors/bot rooms - then they just ignore these issues/topics for years, because they have no thing to say, since they know inside themselves the players are right and they're are too ashamed to admit that they just don't care any more and there is no thing to do.

I miss saidin and dot :(
