Winning perms in ZM2 with Special Reward Keys
I'm wondering if these are remotely worth trying for. I recently discovered I love the M4 CQBR dual mag AP that you can win from Shattered Station with reward keys. I sorta want to try for it but I want to see what the forum thinks of them. I've only used a handful of them from monthly mixup and had no luck. But I wonder if a more focused approach might increase my chance of getting a perm with them.
1. Have you won 1 or more permanent weapons using them?
2. Did you buy and use a lot of them or was it just a lucky one you got from an event?
3. Can you use 4-5 at once at the end of a ZM2 game? Assuming no one else uses one, can you pick all the available boxes at once? It's a lot of work to clear a ZM2 just to open 1 key box.
4. Should I bother trying, or should I just stock up on blueprints for the temp M4 CQBR DM AP?
Yes, it's silly to try and get a gun when a temp version is easily obtainable, but I hate temp weapons. I prefer to play for keeps if I can.

when they were added about 4 Months later i bought 5 Keys, and i won with the first Key the MG3 Legendary Dragon Permanent, but since them ive got nothing more out of it, just try to collect them from Achievement or Monthly Mixup and then Farm ZM2 Maps for that what you want, maybe youre lucky but maybe not. That i got the Perma MG3 was more Lucky then constant Perma Drop. i wouldnt bother Buying reward keys, use the free ones.

That's rough. Now that you mention it I've never won any of the Chars or Melees either in all my ZM2 clears and they don't even require a key. Wow that's lucky! I'll prolly just stick with the temp one and start a pile of blueprints so I can have one whenever nbd. Perms are nice but it doesn't sound like it's worth the $$$. I'm not gonna stop trying, you can always stock up on blueprints during your play for the perms

The only permanent thing I have won from ZM2 is the STAR 2 Char, back in EU. You'll probably have to do around 1000+ Clears to win all the stuff you can.JackPain (Sweden) -

even more the only free perm stuff i won is the powered fist after felt 150 clears i got 1 pair and then when i got 1 perma pair of powered fist, within the next 15 clears i won another 6 perma pairs of them, but not 1 single sword from deadly tower, no crab claws,lightning rod or anything else, i was very lucky with the mg3 legendary dragon perma but it wont drop anything more. -

best right not since winning rare guns is such an competition right now safe all free crate/tickets/slaughter tickets/reward keys until z8 registered it that player wont cash up so much more and finally balance the winning rates more out again since the "new black market" came in the drop rate is drasticly down, and im stuck with a lame black market background the old you could at least give your own design/picture of it, and didnt had to watch this uglybackground the whole time -

From ZM3 I have won several AWM rifles and Powered Fists, but the sword remains elusive to me also. I might try to grind for it after Christmas if i feel up to it.JackPain (Sweden) -

Perhaps the reason that happens is that you do a lot of fatal canyon but not deadly tower. This is understandable though, deadly tower is much more difficult than fatal canyon so people tend to avoid it. -

I understand why you like the M4 CQBR. It's scope is really handy in the way that you can shoot really fast without any recoil.
However, there is one rifle with scope that is much better than M4 CQBR: More power, less recoil, faster, and no recoil when using scope as well. Call me "daddy" and I'll tell you which gun that is. -

It's AUG-A1 Golden Camo. It's basically a VIP aug-a1 without the VIP logo on it.
Compare to normal AUG, this one has more power, faster fire rate, ultra-fast reload, red-dot sight with no recoil when used (this is even better than M4 CQBR because it is more accurate at long range so you can just aim, make a bullet rain, and get the kill). Good luck! -

Perhaps the reason that happens is that you do a lot of fatal canyon but not deadly tower. This is understandable though, deadly tower is much more difficult than fatal canyon so people tend to avoid it.
I did the most of my ZM3 before the transfer and it was almost impossible to find someone doing a Nightmare DT run there. Since the transfer, I only played ZM3 in events. So that's why i mostly played Canyon and almost no DT, but yes It is harder for less gain at nightmare, but with a gold drone, good weapon and a not completely noob-team it won't be that much of a problem either.JackPain (Sweden) -
Just the star elite in over 300 games. But.... its the same old story keep playing you will earn a perm when GM's feel fit.
Same with anything here these GM's must think we are thick? they lower the rate hence keeping naive players playing "player base" thus keeping them in jobs.
Also why nurf the m4 laser in all zm modes, canyon was a real nice gun to use now pffff its a waist of time GM's like to tamper with thing's like making a whole mess of this game. Servers comon you skint flints upgrade.

Looks like a cool gun. I didn't know it had a different scope than the other AUGs crappy zoom. But part of what I like about the M4CQBR is that A)it's suppressed. and
it looks super tacticool with the laser sight and dual mags and stuff. -

I suggest to keep an eye on Black Friday 2019, they may add ZM Cards with discount (it will be a good time to buy them in case you really want the perm weapon)

Yep I'm pretty much in the same boat. Only ever used the ones from the achievements and monthly mixup and never won anything. Never won the melees or characters either. Seems like a pointless money pit in classic Z8/CF style, as usual. GJ Z8 for releasing yet another failed cash grab for your game.
I do quite like ZM2 though so an event would cool nonetheless. But I'll probably skip buying the keys even if they go on sale for black friday. Who knows maybe they'll put out a M4CQBR DM AP in the black market or something and I can shoot for that. The free temp one will do for now.
