Error whenever I got flashed

So I'm not sure why but whenever I got flashed directly (doesn't matter if I was playing or spectating someone else) I always got the message saying that Crossfire Error - would you like to report etc...
I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it on multiple drives, also yes I did try to install and reinstall my GPU's driver to the latest update. I also go ahead and try to change the setting to default settings etc and it all the same thing. Also, I try to change to different resolutions and result still the same. My pc specs are: i7 9700k, 32gb ddr4 with 1080ti, drives that I tried to install on is 960 Evo, 860 Evo, western digital black HDD. I would appreciate someone could help me solve this problem once and for all.

Thanks for reaching out - unfortunately, I tried all of them and still wouldn't work . Now literally every time before I firing up crossfire I have to make sure I delete the .DAT files first and the problem still occur somehow

I get the same crap too!!!
I noticed it usually happens after i install the new nvidia drivers.
I'm on 440.97 now (for the new call of booty update) and again every flash nade is an error

I know I'm late to the party, but I also already made a thread about the issue. Smilegate doesn't care, you'll not see a GM even acknowledge any bug reports over here.
This isn't anything you can change, it's a problem with the client itself, all we can to is wait.

So I was playing earlier, got the same error as last time but this time I didn't hit ok button to close down the app immediately and this pops up; It said cannot open shader file - rez\Shader\legacyshader.fxo - File not found! Attachment not found. . Maybe this would help?

thing is, why does this only affect a few people? whats up with our systems thats different from the majority?
I can get the game to run ok on my alt laptop, but i never use it, so not breaking it out just to play cf and go for "monthly mixup" weapons xD

I **** you not, it’s really funny I have this one crappy laptop that have I5 3rd gen, onboard gpu with 4gb of ddr3 ram; it works flawlessly on that laptop. No fps dropped, no error, no delays, no glitch etc... but when I play on my supposedly “gaming pc” which I stated the specs on top, I keep getting multiple problems like glitch, fps dropped is very regularly and more but those aren’t bothered me that much since I could still actually play but the flash thing bugged the hell out of me I just don’t know why, I literally even swap to different graphic card and still same problem. Maybe it’s my calling to quit this game.

Came back just to post the same thing, legacyshader.fxo can't be opened. Whatever the hell that means.
But eh, gm's don't care, nobody even bothered responding or acknowledging the problem. Thank god microsoft seems to be taking over for future CF titles, Smilegate west is doing a poor job all around.

Crossfire has crashed. All servers down. Cannot log in. Game was lagging and had lots of errors with mass disconnections before this happened.
Is this the real life? is it just fantasy? caught in a landslide.No escape from reality.
Goodnight people cf has ended for the weekend.

Guys, i have same probleme, after one days i have solution. Delete dts audio seems to fix the flash / crash error. Make use of the nvidia audio drivers. peace
