Let's talk about Gun-Repairing system

Well, I have recently noticed how bad the gun repairing system is, Each time I use my Barrett M82A1, After each snipers-only 14 Rounds S&D game, It needs about 1000 GP Repair, But why spend so much on repairing the weapon? That's about 50% of the GP I got at the end of the game, I just hope that Repairing becomes a bit less expensive because why would someone spend 50% of the GP he gets after games to repair Weapons?
Also I have always been wondering, What happens if I never repair the Weapon that I use in battles?

This is one of the lesser concerns that Z8 should have with CF. With so many events, crates and GP bonuses I don't think it's expensive to repair weapons. If you never repair your weapon the aim on it becomes wider than usual and it creates much more difficulty to kill your opponents, the recoil gets broken as well (so I have heard).
  • If you don’t repair the stats of the weapon go down bit by bit. It should say “%x decrease in accuracy” etc like it does for my cop pistol. I’d like to believe this applies to all guns that require repair where stats drop the longer you don’t repair. About it being expensive even if you don’t have a vip it’s not hard to find an snd or hmx game where vip users are at and get bonus gp/xp.
  • They should just remove that system completely and be done with it, after the introduction of vips and noble/prime weapons it makes little sense to have it at all. Just another useless thing to do in this game.
  • Repairing weapons not cost that much . if we see gp resources :
    1- SD matching
    2- VIP owners
    3- ep crates
    4- hero mode matching
    5- dragon and snake rings
    6- chapels

You gain thousands gp daily , so it's easy to spend some on repairing . Not that big deal bro
  • If you are complaining about GP now, you should have tried the game the first few years. If you did a couple of bad matches, you almost didn't have money to repair your weapon. Buying GP crates, was a big luxury that few could afford.

Now, 100.000GP isn't that hard to get over a weekend, with free/event crates included.

So true. I remember when it was really difficult to get GP and very few players had 100K GP
  • Dont forget that exp had the same rate. Gain 1 low lvl could take a few month...

It's not useless. It is/was a feature. So called currency sinks are a way to counter GP hyperinflation. The VIPs and events watered it down pretty hard but i think it was implemented as a currency sink in the first place

thats not very true tho, the same goggles that are still in the shop today, gave you 120k GP, only costs about 12-14k zp, altough if you mean f2p, ye you were basicly screwed

I was talking from F2P perspective otherwise there was another option to get massive amount of GP through old BP Mall, IIRC.
  • I once played with a broken shotgun, you should try the "fun" too. it lands shots everywhere, just not where you aiming at...
If its just for GP, there are plenty of modes where you dont need to bring a weapon. If you want to play a certain mode play it and dont care about the currency.
