The new mode is terribly unbalanced
The map: it's basically a daytime Rooftops with a couple of things added. . The map is way too small for 30 players. It was already bad enough for 16 players but this is painful. Maps like Zone 13,Mall,Tranquility and Port (removed map for no reason) would've been better picks because they're way bigger and have better camping spots,unlike Dawn Village which has 2 good spots. These spots are also very easy to breach with a Maiden or Jiang Shi so if anyone has them,you can't stay anywhere.
Now pretty much everyone rushes to the stairs and for the cage zone in the corner.
Commandos:
Regular Commandos:
Why are they so weak?You're struggling to kill even a berserker with 3-4 k health because your attacks barely do any damage. They do like 450 damage per light attack and something like 1500 per heavy attack . They also have only 5500 health and Xenos can instantly kill you with a heavy attack to the head. Yes there can be a maximum of 8 commandos but there are also 22 mutants and a bunch of Red Xenos and normal Xenos that can kill you instantly.
Frost Commandos:
There can be 4 of them but you're against 5 Red Xenos and a bunch of other mutants. Since regular commandos are basically useless,how are you supposed to win as humans? Xenos still have the range advantage and they can kill a Frost Commando in 3 heavy attacks to the head. And they can also regen their health back to full if you fail to kill them. They shouldn't be able to regen health when commandos start appearing. They're already way too strong with 13k HP and annoying fireballs.
Reinforced crates:
Mutant crates appear way too soon. You can't hold your ground anywhere because you're gonna get spammed by fire balls every 2 seconds.
Reinforced mutant and human crates should appear at the same time. This will also prevent Red Xenos from camping the human reinforced crates.
Red Xenos:
Their fireball ability needs a way higher cooldown. Right now it appears to be 8-10 seconds. It should be 20 seconds or even more so you can't spam that thing endlessly.
I wasn't expecting a mode to be even more unbalanced than HMX.

Cant agree more with all your detailed information, the map is awful and the mode is boring. When I knew about this content for August I just said "will take a break from CF"
I tried 1 time to play this map and found its not worthy wasting my time.
Hope they can make some changes in the future. -
I played this new mode 6 times every day so far (doing event) and I mostly agree, but I'd say that fire terminator (red xeno) is fine: he's as strong in its own way as frost commando; frost commando has 15k hp and his special attack ('g' key) wipes everyone if used well, and it's not like soldier side never wins.
Fire terminator's fireball is a good addition to hmx, it fixes stalement, where soldiers have nothing to do but hunt down lonely mutants into a corner, which is never fun for the mutants, but now with supply boxes they can have a comeback. Though, yeah, there's too many fireballs killing hoards of people too occupied by blocking each other and shooting lagging mutants. -

I believe its balanced, with more players, humans get more damage. Doesnt help that base mutants have 2k, 3k, and 7k hp, zp variants are 3k, 4k, 9k. It would be literally unwinable for mutants if they cant pick up the black box or become fire. At first and second form mutants, they get 1 shot by barretts half way thru the game. Vip Gatling rips thru anything. Tmp with even high dmg makes it impossible unless a mutant comes from behind. Black boxes for humans are always amo refill + another item. Tmp 10th aniv is what i mainly use for this mode, 30/240, smg mag, + gp mm mag + event mm mag. Run around and have mutants chase you for ez kills. Im my experience theres only 2 way to survive, tmp and run/parkour around or camp cage, ladder, sign. Ladder and cage is impossible to get without fire or maiden. Also ace is near impossible without good frost kill count at least once.
