Reporting is useless isnt it?

So a couple of weeks ago I reported someone for calling me "an european dog" just because I killed him with a pretty nasty shot. I also provided an in game screenshot clearly showing that specific person insulting me and I even got a reply from whoever is taking care of such offences that they're going to look into it and ofc not inform me of the decision that had been taken by the staff, that's okay. But I've been closely watching that account's last activity section and it shows that guy playing CF daily, which means that he wasn't and still isn't banned. Can I know why? Also I'm not expecting a permanent ban just because of this, I just want someone to let him know that what he said isn't okay.

They probably just warned him. "European Dog" isn't that big of an insult, i wouldn't even take it as an insult my self, i like dogs and i am european.
The player didn't actually curse at you or threaten you (or your family, as they usually do), so i wouldn't expect much action taken.
If someone starts following you around in the forum or in game and calls you or/and your family names or threatens you, then you can expect them getting a temp ban. Just remember to be sure you didn't provoke the player first (As in started the brawl), the GM's will probably check through the logs and you will be punished too.

If they don't go overboard, it's easiest to just ignore trolls or laugh at them.

  • This is hatred tho, he isn't the first one to look at my ping and realize that I'm european and start insulting me, many people have done that since 2010 when I started playing, I've never cared until about 2015 when I started reporting people, only now it has become more often and obviously I started caring. If I dare say something back to someone I'm immediately kicked and messaged with text in whatever language. Also, it's a video game, I get it, people talk rubbish, but leave my family, my ethnicity and my religion out of it, which seems like it is too much to ask.
I'm just saying, imagine the backlash if someone of Muslim origins posted the same thing I did regarding his people or religion.
  • i saw a lot of Europeans saying bad words to egys just because they have 90 and 100 ping and insulting our religion as a Muslim and i report them and nothing happens so u can call it a Draw
  • I personally know 2 people who got a 7 days ban for insulting egys because they got annoyed by their 80+ ping, meanwhile, I haven't met anyone who got at least a 3 day ban for saying bad things about the Pope or Europe and I as said in my last reply, since 2015 I've reported tens of people.

Every game you get into its either:
    - someone being called out due to high ping
    - someone being called out for using a weapon such as; 9a91, tmp, slug, kac, VIP's
    - arabic people generally using words such as "ksm." etc.

Its a daily occurrence. However, calling out a religion is different story.
If the word "christian" and "christmas" are censored, the word "muslim" and "ramadan" should also be censored. Js.
  • You don't get to know what happens to a person after reporting them, and punishments/warnings/etc are always up to GM discretion. Thank you for your feedback on this, however!
