Message when you receive items

I recently logged in and saw that I had a Cop.357 and other weapons in my storage and I had no idea that I had them and where I got them from.
Therefore I would like to see a message when you receive items (and maybe why), when you log in, similar to when you lose items because they were temporary.

would be kind of nice, but it ain't that hard to check your storage every day in game and the same with events like monthly mix-up here in the forum.
