Any solutions to fix a wobbly mouse?

I decided to start up CF for the first time in ages, and with a new mouse this time. I used to play with some kind of default office mouse without any customizable settings which always worked fine.

However right now im using a corsair harpoon on 500 dpi which makes my crossair go up and down in waves when I aim from left to right and vice versa. Its unplayable.
Does anyone know some kind of quickfix I can try? This isnt happening in any other games. Much appreciated.

Yeah.. change your mouse polling rate to 125 or 250hz..

You can enable the mouse polling rate support in the settings. But you will have to disable/re-enable it every time you start the game. Cause the support option is broken.

Or you can set your mouse to 125Hz

Mouse interface: change to 125 Hz or in Crossfire Ingame Settings there is a bock where you can set a tick to support your mouse polling rate

If you have anything above 125Hz, you should disable the mouse polling rate support in the settings and save it. Then, test it in a single bot gameplay. Since polling rate support is bugged and thus doesn't work properly, go back to the settings and enable the mouse polling rate support, and enter a game. It should work afterwards. If it doesn't, just stick with 125Hz for now. Note: if you relog after this process, you will get bugged and you won't be able to move in game again, at least if the mouse polling rate support is enabled. This happens to me. If it does to you, just follow the steps said before.

Changing the mouse polling support in game settings seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks guys

Just keep it at 125hz and keep the ingame setting disabled.. every time you restart the game, and occasionally just randomly when joining a new game the setting will just stop working and leave you with the waving mouse. Not worth it
