Here's a guide on how to beat the new Elemental Raid map on Nightmare

We found some new tricks here and there, like for example:

- splitting up 4:4 at the guardians could work, 3 hammer users and 1 glove user each portal
- shooting collosus's hand when he grabs someone stuns him too, you dont have to always hammer him for that attack
- M4-Laser is actually OP, if you have 1 player in your group, have him die a few times at the beginning and you can melt the bosses with it's super powerfull laser

The second tip I actually wasn't aware of, thanks!! Tip from me: When using the shift function, move towards fire attacks, not away from them.

The subtitles are enabled and everyone that speaks said language can add their own version by clicking ''...More'' then ''Add translations''.

np, try to gather a standard team so u can learn together and you can get better at it as overtime, good luck!
  • Good luck getting 8 pubs with 7 of them not understanding a word despite somehow being able to download a game and read its texts too coordinate hammers and other items. This mode is impossible without a ZM group of 8.
  • This is more of a mode for clan-play. But you can do it with strangers, i managed 6 expert runs to finish now. Never played with the same team more than twice, as you often get kicked when they need a place for a friend or clan member. Still it's getting better, as most casual ZM players are giving up and when you play with those who managed +50 runs on the map, you learn new stuff, making yourself better for each time.

I wonder who holds the record for most finished runs now and how many runs. I know atleast one player managed 30+ Nightmare finishes with X2 every run.

I wish my clan was more active and united right now, as we were supposed to be a HMX and ZM oriented clan.

EVERYONE seems to forget that on this map, like every other ZM map - there is SCALING. That means you can get 2 other good players with you and complete the map in 3. I did it multiple times in 3 players, tho' I recommend 4 just in case 1 of the hammers get grabbed by Colossus. So: 2 hammers & 1 glove and we completed it multiple times on Expert, with an S rank.
I imagine that with a better team you could even do nightmare in 4 players.

Best pro tip that I can come out with: playing as 5 is better than playing as 8 where 3/8 are bad!
  • Only need 1 hammer and 1 glove on each miniboss. 1 card user tanking is best too, and the other could be a medic or extra hammer. My team finish it in about 9 minutes, and we are getting faster as more of us get m4 lasers. I have about 70 nightmare clears already.
  • fun fact: you dont really need to follow the guide with overgeared team lul

I can't throw away my weapon neither pick up others. But that tip said to pick up others m4, how?

You probably have a item called bag switch activated. This item allows you to switch between bags but doesn't allow you to drop/pick up other weapons.

The less players you start with, the less lives the bosses will have, it balances itself out. However, be sure to clear with 4 in the end considering the cuttent event requires you to!
  • Another tip.
Blue boss. When he jumps try to go closer to him instead of running away so that he goes the the melee attack on you, dodge with shift or go behind him. Then he attacks again. Do the same and on the 3rd attack he turns around. Then you can use the hammer to stun him.
Red boss. When he hits the ground for the fire wave go in range for the 2nd wave. Dodge it with shift and go closer. Then he goes for melee attack like the blue boss. Do the same, dodge 2 times and then hammer him. Pretty simple but people always run away instead of going closer.
Also use the hammer only when it tell you to do so and go closer to be in range. I see too many people hitting with hammer at random times and not close enough. Good luck
  • get close, don't just stand in corner and shoot/die, shoot/die, shoot/die wait for respawn.
when you get close it activates his swing attack, after 2 doges you can hammer him.

it would be so easy if slide wasn't on a long delay.
make slide like in arena boss zm and this map will be a breeze.

If you're in the lobby, and click on ''My Info'' on the top left - then on ''Profile'' - then ''Ranking'' - then ''Event Ranking'' - and then choose ''Zombie Boss Killer'' on the top left.

Then you can see the current list that gets updated every morning:
