Rising through the ranks

I've played this game for years, since the beginning, so apart from wondering why I often can't beat lower ranks who seem to be able to shoot at will whilst back flipping, through boxes, never missing, rapid firing snipers etc, I still have no idea why someone with 48k kills can be a Marshall, while I have 374k kills and I'm a Colonel - seriously, how can this be? I have a couple of VIPs, I know I mostly play FFA but some seem to rise to these ranks in a matter of weeks or months rather than years - how??

More VIP's, playing in VIP only rooms, farming exp. Technically they could also be playing Mutant-Mode or ZM, those kills doesn't register.

As for their skill
1. It might not be their only acc, they may be marshals with millions of kills in other accs.
2. They may be cheating
3. Lagg, might cause glitches. (like they shoot you, which you don't see and you die 1-2 sec later)

PS. I took a many year long break form CF, so when i started to play again last August, i was still a Sergeant (Or around that grade). I am Colonel now. I don't own any VIP's and haven't played in any exp farm rooms, i do however grind the weekend bonus times a lot. On weekdays i usually play 1-2 hours. So it's not impossible to rise in ranks playing normally.

Maybe they just bought a KDR reset

Both [USER="26494729"]Painanator[/USER] and [USER="10505456"]Y0ungAngie[/USER] are correct. Rank doesn't mean a thing these days and even K/D can be manipulated by resetting/not saving by AK VVIP.

You can buy a KD-reset so ur kills and death are reset to 0.
The Rank doesnt say how good a player is.
Play fair and you will love this game

do you mean semi-auto snipers or players who use kick feature on their character to shoot bolt action sniper fast?

cause... i never seen someone complains about semi-auto snipers.
