I belive you talk about crates from EP shop since you metioned you and your friends grinded like dogs. Well, if that is the case then I can tell you that I used to be like you. I was a slave who grinded hours and hours for EP but I lost all of it for nothing. Back then I always buy 10 crates each time and that's the reason why I lost them all.

Here is the thing, the bigger stack you have the more chance of winning, EXACTLY LIKE SLAUGHTER TICKET. If you spin 100 crates in one stack then you have much higher chance of winning than spinning 10 crates 10 times.

This is the biggest lesson I learned from crates, now I always buy at least 30 cratesand open them in one stack. Or accumulate all free crates of a month and open them in one stack (e.g this month we have 45 burnt metal crates).
  • Also, always open the crate you really want when the luck level is full. It really increases your winning rate.

Last weekend I won IAS knife from just one crate because I used my unwated crates to buff the luck level up to its max level before opening my wanted crate. I wanted the Light something rifle but I got this stupid knife instead.

Of course this method doesn't work all the time because it only increase your "initial win rate", meaning if the system decides you have 1% win rate then the maxed luck level can make it up to 3% and you still lose, but if the system decides you have 20% win rate then the maxed luck level can make it 60% and you may win after 1 or 2 crates opened at the luck level maxed.
  • After you win a permanent item from crates then the system gives you another "initial win rate" which can be high or low depending on your luck. This is why :

    1) some poeple open 300 crates in one stack and don't win anything because his initial win rate is very low (probably 0.1% LOL)
    2) some people win 2 permanet weapons in one row and you often see that in the winning list, because his "initial win rate" is high in the first place and he is given another high "initial win rate" after the 1st win.
    3) some people win 1 permanent weapon within the 1st 10 crates but don't win anything with 300 crates after. This is because he was given a very high "initial win rate" at first then a very low "initial win rate" after the 1st win.
  • And how the system decides what "initial win rate" you should have? is it random? NO, I DON'T THINK SO. It gives you a higher "initial win rate" when you:

    1) Don't check the blackmarket for some time, basically you don't care.
    2) Ready to quit.
    3) Low level.
    4) Probably very active.
    5) After a series of spending a lot of ZP for nothing.

    etc.
  • I also notice the system always need someone to win to annouce it to everyone at specific time. For example, from 02:42:15 pm to 02:43:45 pm sever time there are always 6 winners, I make note for the whole week and it was all the same. LOL YEAH I WAS CRAZY.

Then I tried to test it and open my free crates during this time; to be honest I tested this theory for a whole week, each tests cost around 30 crates. I start to auto-spin from 00:42:00 as each spin takes 3 seconds to finish so I'd win at 00:42:15 after 5 crates; BUT I DIDN'T win anything. Here is the thing I notice: when I reached 5th crate or some crate at specific times it often (not always) spins faster than usual and takes longer than 3 seconds LOLLLLLLLLL. DOES IT MEAN THE SYSTEM WAS TAKING TIME CHOOSING SOME ONE TO WIN IN ORDER TO ANNOUNCE A WINNER BUT IT DIDN'T CHOOSE ME??????

if this was true then I litterally hit jackpot but the system prevented me from winning.

After each test I'd check the winner list and the same amount of new winners appear but i was never on the list

But why didn't it choose me? Was it because I was in the wrong server? So this thing is both time and server specific?
  • Since the test was conducted, whenver I see my crate spins faster and takes longer time than usual, i either stop or change server to open crates.
  • Was bored, commented too much. Thanks, now is movie time.
  • Movie finished.

    * I also think each server gives you a different "initial win rate". So when you see your crates spin faster and takes more time than usual you should change server; because the current server doesn't favour you but some other basturds. :D

what i think is sometimes you were supposed to hit jackpot but the current server doesn't want you to win so it spins the crate faster and longer so as to make the golden ball move to another position that is not the jackpot position.

The faster and longer spin is really fishy. Be careful of it.

  • Choose the events wisely then..I don’t have as much time to play and still have 200 or more crates. If it’s an easy event do it, don’t mindlessly grind events and think you’re guaranteed a gun. I opened 150 or so in March when I got back won nothing and said f it and moved on lmao and now back to 200 and I’ll ive been only playing snd without focusing or grinding on events as I use to in the past.

Four months? Get in line, I haven’t won anything in like a year and half or longer. Reading the thread title I thought “welp guy fell for free vip scam” what a twist rates suck not much you can do but move on and just keep spinning.
