Crossfire.exe uses 100% of the CPU
Hey,
Literally when I open crossfire it uses 100% of cpu on both cores (I have Core 2 duo E7600) I also have a GT 1030 GPU, the problem here that I can't understand , is why is that ? I mean the game is laggy af , the background sound shatters and the game hangs , and literally when it's open I can't use the PC because nothing is responding also for the record , the average temp on my CPU is 65c when I open the game , it's 75c which is the maximum sensors can record .
Why I ask this question ?
Because my older Pentium 4 was running the game smoothly even without having a GPU at all , I mean at 15-30 FPS but it wasn't fking my computer .

Idk the exact problem because I'm no PC sleuth, but I know for a fact that the game is CPU heavy. You obviously have a very recent GPU but with graphics as simple as CF, it doesn't amount to much. Poor optimization, hoss. What's funny is I can run games that look better with far less CPU-exhaustion. Just the way it is, sir.

That's so weird for real ! , I mean I can play modern games smoothly without any problems , like Fortnite , Black ops 3 , Gta V , and other games that really consume resources , I ran the game on lower CPU Pentium 4 (1 core , 3ghz , 2mb cache , 800 bus speed, max temp at 66c) now the higher one 2 Duo e7600 (3ghz , 2 cores , 3mb cache , 1066 bus speed , max temp at 75c) is unable to run it , the problem it self is driving me crazy , it's like WTF ? on the Pentium 4 without a gpu , I could run the game normally , but now it's like "I run ? on your higher PC ? damn NO" -

They don't care that even when you are just idling in the menu or lobby the game is still at 90-100% like WTF? In what planet a game uses 100% CPU when you're in the menu? Is that normal? No! But some try to act like it is.
I read someone said that upgrading to quad-core processor (which isn't easy as people think) will solve the problem , but I think it's more related to the windows architecture , because the cases I ran crossfire normally , also after checking some people I know they play it with same CPU , it works perfectly without any issues on a 32-bit windows with/out a GPU , it has a KNOWN problems with 64-bit windows and NONE-threading processors (2 Cores and lower) -
This is something we're looking into and have recently been gathering data on this. We do indeed care, contrary to what Atreyu said, but it is something we've seen increasingly, yes. The 2 core cpu is definitely an issue related to this, but we will be investigating further causes as time moves forward as well.
