What do you think about upgrading this ak?
Will it be better to buy jewel in shop or only play and wait when it will accumulate enough
is it luck of getting jewel or there is some system(boss falls faster or something)
is ak silver or gold better than common version on pvp or it has same characteristics?

The AK buster is stronger than normal AK, its power is equal to VIP AK. Reload faster than VIP AK, draw time is quicker too.

And you don't need to upgrade it for PVP. Upgradation is only good for Zombie mode.

About the jewels, you get one for 20 games on average.

The Silver has next to no recoil in PVE and the eight double grenades it gets deal more damage than the AA12s 10 grenades. Each shot also punches through multiple zombies in a line. The Gold is insane, it can break the final Warmongers blue shield in seconds with all ten of its triple grenades. To put it in perspective though, I've got 252 clears on Crater Dawn on hard and I've got 24 gems. The drop rate is around 8-10% for gems, so you're in for a long resource farm. If you really like PVE, going for the Silver is worth it since it gets the recoil reduction and double grenades, and if you have the ZP, the Gold is amazing.

I agree with this, it takes ages to get the Golden one for free. I'd recommend waiting for the jewel prices to drop in the trade mall to 1k ZP and buying enough to upgrade it fully.

Jewel Drop Rate is awful, I have 100 completed games with only 5 jewels earned (which means I will need around 1,600 game to get all jewels required)
... so I think the best chance is buying some Jewel sets in Trade System once they are cheap enough (1K ZP ~ 1.5K ZP) is the best chance.
I'm still working with the theory that using AK Buster Gold increases the jewel drop rate while playing Crater Dawn (pending to investigate further)
Not sure if its useful at all in PvP (maybe it is heavier? cant tell) but the best use is for ZM only

The AK buster is better than even VIP AK like I said. Same weight, same power, but draw faster and reload faster.
Upgradation is only for PVE, it won't affect its PVE stats.
Perhaps I should farm jewels to make it silver then buy the rest for gold. This is because it is stronger than AA12 buster, and the AA12 buster may cost even more ZP if you want it for PVE purpose.

The AK buster gold is very op - it even stronger than the aa12

However,the normal basic ak edition recoil is awful so it kinda useless without upgrade it to it max -but once you did - it's like play with hack

i would say if you play a lot of ZM this gun is a must have. and even in normal PVP modes this gun have the same stats as ak fury beast, I thought you can only get a jewel in boss award crates until i got one for the first time in game after 50 games. So dont waste time trying to farm and just buy it and enjoy the no recoil.

Yeah, there are two ways the gems drop. The most "common" (if you can call it that lol) is from the Legendary rating reward box you get in-mission at the end, and it will almost always be in the center of the three boxes that show up on screen. The other is some kind of bonus that shows up on top of the three boxes with a message saying "Obtained Awakening Gem", though that doesn't happen very often. And from what I've heard from other players, apparently you can get very lucky and get both, giving you two gems on the same run.

Yeah, and 1/10 games you get a jewel so is hard to gel the ak gold

I agree, getting gems is very difficult, and improving the AK for someone F2P is a very complicated task. They should raise the possibility of winning these gems, otherwise only those who invest money will have it, leaving clear evidence that it is a P2W.

Its not complicated at all lol. I'm 2 gems away from a Silver. Just keep running Crater Dawn, an 8-10% drop rate isn't bad at all. And yes it's P2W, they need money to pay their employees and keep the game running. Plus you can still get a bunch of good stuff for free nowadays with all the events, in game perms, part weapons from ZM and the EP shop.

Guys I have a question. I found the new m4a1 that could be upgraded in my storage but I did not found the AK buster. I played the new zm map and I did not get that AK.
How many times should I play to get it in my storage?

Hello there, you need to open a Boss Reward Box from Crater Dawn (to get a chance of a perm AK Buster).
You will earn 1 Boss Reward Box each time you reach 5 stamps, you can get 2 stamps by defeating the Boss in the Special Round in Crater Dawn Hard mode (within the time limit, 3min if I recall it right).
If you dont kill the special boss within the time limit, you will earn only 1 stamp

im roughly at 100 hard mode wins and got 10 jewels and 4 ak busters. i would recommend those who farm this quit opening boss rewards after getting the buster unless you want a storage full of busters
