Hey Everyone! Long time no see! I have a problem!

Hey guys I wanted to check out CF again. Its been almost TWO YEARS since I played last. But now when I try to get in game, I am getting a "Hack Tool Detected" message and DC'd.

Is it because I am using a RAZER mouse?

Anyone know how to fix this?

  • Can't say for certain why you're getting that particular Hack Tool Detected code myself, however I doubt it's from the Razer Mouse as I use a Razer Mamba myself and know plenty of other people are playing with razer products.
Though it is important to note that using gaming mouses software to set up button press macro's to help you do things like bunny hop and so on is against the rules. Though you can still use gaming mouse without those and be fine.

I'd send in a support ticket with that screenshot showing the code number (will have to put the picture into a ZIP file). They should be able to give you more details.

However, it's most likely with some other program you have running in the background like an anti-virus with CF not in the exceptions list, or a VPN being detected, or otherwise.

I have AVG and always got disconnnected in game. It only says client error code something.
Add CF to its exception list and everything is fine since.
  • Thanks for the tips about adding CF to my BitDefender exclusions. I will try that now.
