so the game actually doesn't "update" it just gets more issues with every update ...... can u guys just hold on releasing and ramming the game with useless temporary played rooms/mods .... and pay more attention to the bugs/errors in the game ??

I'm sure that the community will be more happy and more satisfied by an update that only gets "real" solutions for bugs and errors and fps drops (by the way this fps optimization is just LAME) than getting an update with 4 dragonly skinned weapons .... and for the money collecting thing u can release any iconic rare crate.... as simple as that.


now this fps optimization is making fps drops more of a serious issue.

this update caused me lagging issues I've never suffered ... my ping was around 50s ...... now I'm hitting 100...200..300 ERRORED!!

don't know if the lag issue is update related or fps optimization option enabled related ...

i always thought we Egyptians are lagging ... but after this update I'm 100% sure all lag issues are game related me getting a 50 ping can be 40 or even 20 if u optimized ur servers ... not the problem of how far I'm from the server as after this update I'm working with150 ping .... have i moved away from the servers double the distance ??

there is a forumer here naming himself "EgyPig" and was insulting Egyptians in a post where GM kanadian himself was commenting ..... so a Question Mr.Kanadian if u found someone insulting Canadians for no reason .. what will be ur action ? i know the answer.

sure there are some idiot children asking for your vip for one round but those could be of any nationality ... we have Egyptians with +20 VIPs and more so we aren't the poor people of the game ..... and skills wise there are many Egyptians that got skills to win the world champion competition and GMs here know what happened to the Egyptian team that were supposed to join the latest world competition in chinabut due to some paper works they couldn't travel, but everyone knows those guys potentials.

so all I'm asking for is Respect....

Why so much racism / hatred towards the Arab community?

I could suppose that the most obvious answer would be that you yourselves looked for it when using illegal programs (hacks) to play and try to win, that's where everything comes from.

I do not say that everyone used it, but at some point GREAT part of their community did it, affecting not only those who did not cheat, but also the game itself, the players from other regions and yourself.

What's with the names?

Clearly the names that I have come across from your community are to use future illegal programs, I'll give you an example: "qweqwewq" or "123123214", are the most common names you find in the game, basically because your original account was reported by the use of illegal programs (hacks).

The above is a guess, but I find it more logical, who in their right mind puts those names?

Conclusion

Anyway, that's my opinion. In part I also have a bit of anger in the Arab community, and it is more than proven that you have looked for it when using hacks. Neither in their own community of CF Egy accept them (?).

well...so like to start off....on the developers side, from what i've read before, there's people that make new content (a lot of which is actually already made and just needs coded into our client) and then there's the coders that are tasked with working on fixes, bugs, and so on. So really unless they change things up structurally on the dev side and stop adding in the content that already exists (usually) to be added in then the amount of fixes and what not won't change.
Though if they did fix more things every patch the community would certainly be happier overall.
And so far my experience with the FPS optimization is neither good nor bad really. I've noticed some oddities but haven't confirmed if it's their side or mine yet. (have made a few changes and am also due for some various updates which could be the cause of the oddities)

As for the ping issues. From my understanding Egyptian ISP options are pretty limited due to government control/restrictions on various digital/internet based things and generally don't have the speeds available that other countries have due to it. That being said, distance is only 1 factor and it's more about the nodes your connection has to travel through to get to the server. It's possible some of those nodes are having issues, or your ISP is having issues, or other. But pretty much your internet connection speeds will influence your ping to a point as will the distance and amount of 'nodes' that your connection has to pass through to reach the server. Yes optimization on the server can cause issues with the ping. But if it was with the server it wouldn't just be your ping or a group of people's ping but everyone who's on that server would be hit with large ping inconsistencies.

As for the racism/insults thing. Report it any time you see it through support tickets using the 'violations' category. always include pics when reporting it and remember that if you're retaliating or instigating it first and it's seen or found out that it could come back to haunt you.
But just yesterday, like 28 hours ago from this post or something, I reported someone for insulting a group of players pretty heavily and beyond just cursing at being killed or game issues. (he was particularly targeting a group of players for no good reason other than to be racist) and i've noticed he hasn't been online since my ticket was dealt with and closed. So those reports do work.
Can't say much Kanadian missing a person who was directly insulting on here, but it happens sometimes. They get focused in on addressing another topic/post and miss one in the same thread especially if they are composing a post and the person posts as they are typing theirs. However, you can always report the post as well and bring it to their attention through the right channels and it will be dealt with.

As for the general attacks on the ME and Egyptian player base....yea it happens a lot and it shouldn't. Again just report it as you see it and it will get dealt with. Sure insult/racism punishments start off temporary and work their way up to permanent bans after so many reports but eventually those people will either learn or get banned permanently.
I will add on though that it's not just the none ME/Egyptians dishing out insults targeted at other regions. I have seen the reverse more than my fair share of times and that's when they actually type it out in English.....imagine if I bothered to translate all the non-english times they talk in the game chat.
But ultimately the result is the same for anyone who is insulting/uses racist comments and gets reported. (the report is the key thing there)

And yes gun hunters can be of any nationality and i've seen some that are clearly not from the ME regions before. The ME gun hunters are the majority of the gun hunters though due to player base localities of course but also perhaps due to language barriers where most gun hunters are younger players and if they come from a region that isn't English speaking it's only going to compound the understanding of game stuff and ability to communicate with players to appropriately ask for a weapon or understand when someone tells them to stop.

won't say much about the Anubis team. Sucks what happened with them and sure ME players in general can be good. Their biggest issue there is that many of them do suffer set backs in terms of getting good enough for tournament play due their ping issues on the regular servers cause issues among other things. But naturally since they are, ya know, people, then they have the same potential to be as good as other people with the right amount of practice and knowledge.

for the part of hacking no one can argue that the majority of hacking are sadely arabs and they have Facebook groups to spreads such things ... many of them argues that they only began to use such things when they found that no actions are taken against others so why not to do it as well ... but i can confirm to u with many SS that some of newly migrated EU player began to use those programs only if I'm allowed to show u those SS i wont hesitate to show them. but i can give u some info .... hacks like shooting from behind walls and speed knife and those really old hacks aren't available for the egys especially afterast December's or may be October's update (the one with the new terms and conditions) they only are used now by EU they get them from other sites Egys can't get to ..... hacks used by (sadely) some egy kids are only the see through walls ones which are available for EU players as well. "I'm sure this whole part will be removed but i hope u see it first"

we as egy community really are against those hacks and programs and reporting them daily even reporting their sites that they spread it through .... something like this affects us all not a group more than another.... the stupid hacker just fires on whoever in front of him not distinguishing people from others..... so yes as a community we hate it but we only can do as what you youreslf can "REPORTING" till one day we can see this game hack free.


for the names yeah thats actually called the language barrier where some newbies to the game don't actually know what is the name that is required for the character mean .... they write the ID wisely and the forume name as well but then when they get into the game and get access to their account they think that the step of naming your character is just an optional/fancy thing so the even write it by taping the whole keyboard or just write their phone numbers some make it their password others make it their id but actually many don't get the idea of "Naming you character "

I hope one day you get to know us much better and I'm sure u will change the image u have about us.

can't agree more with you .... you even appear to know many things about egypt and the government restrictions and monopolism on the internet .... which actually makes me happy that you cared to know.

as for the distance and nodes thing that's actually my point when i always have a stable 50-60 or even 70 ping which is great for me (also others consider it lagging) .... but my point is after the last update just after the last update i hardly get a below 100 ping nodes can't be only affecting CF ... can they ?
and also the distance wasn't changed ....

the ping thing is not only my problem actually other than some EU players who wont even notice the lag as the used to 10-40 pings so when they hit 30-60 wont be a big deal ... but in egypt it's a big deal and I'm sure its a big apparent thing when i press tap and find all the room is flashing 100s and 300s then it's obvious "there is something wrong"
the fps optimization is just as i said can't met the expectations made after making the survey and waiting for it.


as for tickets and reports this section needs a real update and new rules ... i need to get a feedback that u read my ticket (not an automatic "thanks for helping us your ticket has been submitted we actually appreciate it and bla bla bla....") a real feedbak not a must to write the actions taken against that persone .... or at least publish a list of punishments that say if do that you receive this punishment and if repeated u get this and so on so we can feel there is punishments ..... the majority of the community here lost faith in the ticket/support system as a whole.

Obviously downgraded. The game has more content but less fun, especially after web shop cleaning that causes me to lose 80% of motivation to play.

I did uninstall the game for 1 week and just re-installed today because GM celestine said those crates might come back lol. But after a week of not playing, I don't like the game as much as before and I was super bored after an hour of playing. Also the servers seems less crowded, probably because many players decided to quit after the web shop being "cleaned " (or maybe the new web shop is not interesting enough to make them grind).

Anyway, the good thing is: After recent updates, I don't like the game as much as I used to.

Honestly, i find this ticket system an insult, its so outdated and to be totally honest, it feels like it is a way to slack off and work less, by replying to every post with : "please submit a ticket", it drags on the problem, meanwhile the offender is abusing a glitch, hacking, being racist in chat or whatever, and gm's are there like "please submit a ticket", believe it or not, not many of us are actually ass'd to save a screen shot log onto the a website and tab after tab then fill in some pointless form. Like do you not have the technology to implement some in-game report system or even just look at chat logs for your own servers? The way this game is run is literally full of bs, theres no question about it now, you people are too lazy to update your game, desperate for money and get away with it because you can since this 99% of this community blind . For all those little shoe scrubbers from discord and almighty m1n1m0ds; this game literally copy and pastes from china for gods sake, there is literally zero excuse for why they cant fix the game. Just lazy money grubbers who dont work, make excuses to delay working such as "please submit a ticket" and wont use their revenue to pay for more staff. Overhaul this set of Gms, we need actual people who understand this community who can and will actually manage and develop the game.

I wont be expecting a gm reply and with that, im expecting another post about how we should trust them and how they are working their hardest. what a sad joke

M8, thats literally the ONLY thing you can do. Complaining on the barracks will not only NOT get anything done, but it'll probably get you an infraction, as public call outs are not allowed. If you want something to be done, read the rules and follow them. I can promise you, its a lot more productive than complaining about how they dont do anything.

Its easy to judge the GMs and say such a weak, cop-out statement around the lines of "they arent trying to update the game. They're not fixing it". Thats extremely ignorant to say for many reasons. Honestly, I doubt you could do any better than our GMs. Not even 1% as decently.

Unless you have any working knowledge over game design/management, dont try to say that they arent doing their best. You have no idea how hard such a job is in the first place, and thats not considering that they're working with an ONLINE ONLY game of 10 years.

I trust the GMs because I know that if I actually try to follow the established rules that we all agreed to follow upon making our accounts, I'll get stuff done.

errrr, im scratching my head reading your comment to be honest.

The fact that the only thing you can do is submit a ticket , is the problem itself, its an outdated system which is inefficient, prolongs the abuse of bugs and hacks and what not, racist people not yet banned and what not, when im sure an in game report system will, although take effort, make the game management more simple and efficient, it could just be an extra button when you right click on x person. Im pretty sure you dont need extensive game management or coding to explain how easy to code that is, just like sending a message, instead it is relayed to the devs. i mean, from a screenshot of someone being racist, just look into their chat history and ban them on the spot, theres no need to review a ticket when it is as simple as that, or if someone is hacking, dont make the victim report it by saving a video clip and giving back story, when its your own games fault of not being able to detect third party software, why make the players go through such effort to attempt to reduce hacking when ots your own games fault, its just rubbing salt on a wound. instead just add a report system and an option to send video clip along woth it.

You say coding may be easy for that 1 button, but have you considered how that'll affect the rest of the games code? To add even 1 thing, there are a lot of re-writes that'll need to happen, and who knows how many bugs that even 1 line of code could end up making for the entire game. Coding isnt easy as you seem to think it is, mate.

Its also a fact that, if you want something implemented in this game, you have to go to the Chinese devs. The GMS here at CF West can only implement things and add features if the OG devs in China agree to it.

I'm curious as to these indie games and supposed "few people" you're talking about. Online only games are some of the hardest games to make and maintain.

I follow the rules and complain in the right places, and its gotten me quite far in terms of enjoyment of the game. I've never had an account suspended, and when I have a problem, I can talk to the support staff and GMs about it. Following the rules/helping the GMs are a few reasons that CF has maintained it to be active for so long. Complaining about what they arent doing to your specific liking doesnt help anyone.

Gun hunters are rly annoying, always BLOCKING you, and if u try to camp they come up to you revealing your position.
The worst part its they dont understand that you don't want to give your Gun and end with Vote Kick.
Since its not against the rules, its just ignore and play your game or at least try

I'm curious as to these indie games and supposed "few people" you're talking about. Online only games are some of the hardest games to make and maintain.

I follow the rules and complain in the right places, and its gotten me quite far in terms of enjoyment of the game. I've never had an account suspended, and when I have a problem, I can talk to the support staff and GMs about it. Following the rules/helping the GMs are a few reasons that CF has maintained it to be active for so long. Complaining about what they arent doing to your specific liking doesnt help anyone.

You talk about how it wont be easy, youre saying it like that would be a problem, its a game, they have programmers, of course there are going to be problems, every event they implement probably comes with a few problems, every zp crate or 50% bonus zp event also comss with interferences, but of course they are fixed and patched out to minimize losses, bugs from an update isnt an excuse to not do the update, its a game, of course they should expect bugs, just because new code may interfere with old code, it doesnt mean they should just forget the update altogether. They get paid for fixing bugs and adding new things.

The funny thing is that youre comparing the game to itself 6 years in the past, its sad how you need to go that far to see realistic change, how about comparing the game to a year ago, even 2 years ago, its the same thing, theres nothing new, the in game interface is the sane as it was 6/7 years ago, linking me to patch notes of updates doesnt help, the bug fixes are even more of a joke 9/10 bug fixes at best per month, thats 3 days to fix stuff like a *kill zone* or a *text not popping up correctly*.

The game is licensed under tencent, theres no need to ask for new implementations, we get all content no matter after a few months as long as it is not region specific, plus this server makes alot of money, more than enough to satisfy the needs of tencent.

A great example that comes to mind is risk of rain, the game was made by 4 people at most and it was a success that ended up on all gaming platforms, with amazing reviews on steam, remember when crossfire was on steam, yeah, totally no problems with it, as soon as a diverse audience played the game, the badness of the game was highlighted. if 4 people managed to create an amazing game which resulted in a super successful multiplayer game (risk of rain 2) can do it, why cant a group of developers under the training and influence of market giant tencent create an improved game? instead of being a refurbished version of itself 10 years ago?

Going to the right place to complain? are you kidding? this is the forums, why the hell cant i complain here? if here isnt the adequate to complain, then why the hell does forums exist in the first place?

quit making excuses for these developers, i want to see a realistic reply by them not some scapegoat acting in their place.
