crossfire errors and i get 0 help
so theres this error literaly EVERYONE knows about and half of the cf population has or at least had (error do you want to send report?) and NOBODY like literaly NOBODY (im not even kidding) knows a god damn solution for this ridicolous <removed>!!! NO uninstall didnt work NO restart my pc didnt work NO change the compability didnt work NO change my resolution didnt work and YES absolutely nothing works. they get a ton of money out of this old game and cant even manage to write a proper email to help me. all i got was ''We would like to thank you for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, we are not able to understand the nature of the issue and cannot reproduce it with the information currently provided. Please resubmit your report and provide any detailed steps, screenshots or descriptions as available so that we may best assist you.'' oh yeah damn my bad im sure you've never heard about my issue im sorry. im sorry that youre whole team is so damn incompetent to find a solution for an well known error what has been there for decades. wont (i mean i literaly cant lmao) continue playing this <removed> game actively since nobody seems to knows nothing when it comes to errors. thanks for nothing you wont get any money from me ever again.hovel.

the 'error do you want to send report' message error comes up, obviously, when a critical error causes the game to crash. It does not however state WHY it happens and this message can pop up for NUMEROUS issues. So if you just sent in a support ticket with "I HAVE ERROR FIX THIS" then of course you're not going to get anywhere with it. You will need to supply details about it. When did it happen, what were you doing in-game when it happened, what server/channel where you in, what type of game mode if you were in a room, what other programs might have been running in background, PC specs and so on.
And the supports reply was literally as proper as it gets. It states they can not reproduce the issue (probably due to lack of details provided and/or being on different systems anyways) and ask you to send in another ticket giving details that might help them track the issue down. Heck they even said thanks for letting them know an issue occurred. It was polite and had all the info they can due to the lack of info given to them about the error you encountered.
The only thing I will say, and maybe this exists already but I don't see it, is they could have a log file that records various data about the given error present on the computer so that it could be sent in with the report of an error of this kind happens and would give them the details they need to track down the issue without having to rely on QQing people who don't seem to understand the basics of support in that you have to provide as much details as possible surrounding the errors/issues if you want to have any hope of it getting fixed as otherwise they might not run into themselves due to different set ups and what not.
But hey...to each their own i guess. -
I recently wrote a post about the fall of FPS from the patch of "Crater Dawn", and it is a mistake that has been a month. Do you think they have answered me? Do you think they are working on that? HAHA, of course yes champion (sarcasm) First they prefer to generate money than to solve the problems of badly designed game.

there's the disconnect from servers 4 error and I think that is on the GMs side... something they have to fix with their servers. i've spent money on the game and the errors have made me spend less. why buy something if i'll just get a disconnect error so often?

A GM is a Game Manager, a Developer is a Developer. GM's don't have any say in the actual coding of the game or fixing of the errors, that's the developer's job. The Dev's decide what weapons, maps and characters get added, and they're the ones that program the statistics and appearances. GM's may be able to suggest things to the Dev's, but that doesn't mean they're going to get added. They're job is focused on running and maintaining the boards and things like public relations. Verbally assaulting GM's over something they have no say in doesn't help. That's like getting angry at a janitor because the store he cleans doesn't have whatever product it is you're looking for. Though I doubt the kids around here would even appreciate the difference.

Open task manager and disable anything that isn't crucial to running your computer and see if that works, then you'll now if it is any program interferance from your side. Alot of people seems to have had errors because of programs that comes with their graphic cards. Programs that are supposed to make your gaming experience better. Also if you haven't done it disable anti-virus, it's also a likely culprit, when having trouble with any games.JackPain (Sweden) -
Hey there! To answer the important part of what you've mentioned and leave the rest of the nonsense to its own demise, this error is the general display for any non-specific error that might happen. As a result, its hard to know what your issue is from just 'Hey it says error'. That being said, I can see that you are frustrated with supports response to this. This is confusing to me, because I can see I personally requested more information about the issue you are experiencing on Friday, at 9:42AM EST. Unfortunately, you haven't provided us with any further information, and this is the only ticket you have ever sent. As a result it will be hard to determine the cause of your issue and thus troubleshoot it.
Please respond to the ticket with as much information as possible, and we will give you a few things you can try out Thanks!
