do EP crates have better winning chance than ZP crates?

Comments

  • They are the same. EP crates are just old ZP crates most of which have been discontinued but then brought back via the EP shop.
Consequently a lot of these crates are somewhat broken though in that they won't display the winning animations and stop to tell you, you won a rare item but rather treat those rare items like any other item in the crate. So if you auto spin and walk away....you might not realize you won it at first if you do win.

I'm talking about pure EP crates, like Sniper Care crates.

Those weapons have never been in ZP crates, cos they don't have skins.

That was actually on the black market for ZP before though. Just because it doesnt have a fancy skin doesnt mean it wasn't. A lot of the non-skinned versions of weapons were the original black market releases which got discontinued and went out with a 'goodbye goodbuy' sale and disappeared for awhile. Then they introduced the EP shop and put a lot of those old discontinued crates there. After the first EP shop change up a lot of them went away and other crates that had also faced the 'goodbuy goodbye' type discontinuation ended up taking the others place.
You don't often see people running around with those base skin weapons too because those crates weren't too popular to begin with which is why they got pulled from the ZP black market to begin with and also because in many cases there's newer/better skinned versions of them now.

there was a time where ZP weapon crates were actual different unique guns, unlike nowadays its countless reskins of the same guns over and over

Thank you so much for the infomation mate. This is actually a bad news for me as I really want that RSH-12 pistol and the winning rate is so low, like you said it's just like regular ZP crates.

Thanks for the headsup. Now I understand the origin of those EP crates, I thought they were unique guns for whom participates in events only (Hence the name EP crates - crates obtaining from event points).

+1 i was so confused when i won my first ep item.. when i saw it with that normal silver border i was like....
  • same, or even better sometimes. I bought 10 dual karambits EP crates and won the item after 5-6 auto spins.
  • there is no difference.. i don't get why people spread these rumors
