Drop rate for Awakening Jewels in this mode is to low , like everything in this game ... drop rate for GP Items from crates is low , for ZP items is low , for AK 47 Burst is low (but a bit higher then everything else) wich makes me think that developers made every drop rate to about 3% chances to win because they need money and they are sure that nobody will wait to earn 30 Jewels and spend days and alot of hours to upgrade a damn weapon to next level wich is silver for AK 47 Burst Fire .
PS ! I wrote this minutes ago in another post , but nobody will reply or post .. i mean nobody from staff so it`s a waste of time . -
what makes the drop rate so low is the double chance system.
First you have to defeat the last boss within 5 mins to get a chance of obtaining the legendary reward.
Once you have successfully obtained the legendary reward you have a chance of obtaining the jewel.
On overage, you have to play and win around 20-25 games to get one jewel. Of course you may either be lucky and get one jewel after 10 games or very lucky to not get any jewel after 40 games.
I'd say the drop rate is ridiculous. -
I've gotten 3 jewels in 47 Hard Mode kills, almost all of them within the 5 minute special timer. It only drops from the highest tier reward but I don't know what determines these reward tiers. It's either completely random or dependent on some other factor like total amount of time left or total player lives remaining. Ultimately, they expect you to buy these jewels through the trade market. I don't like the low drop rate but I still appreciate that it's obtainable at all through free gameplay.

150 clears, got 11 jewels, drop rate is way low. I hope they find a way to give jewels other than farming crater dawn over and over for weeks/months.
But who knows, maybe next month they add it in MP shop and/or monthly mixup like a pack of 5x / 10x jewels every month.. would be great -
I do think drop rate is really low, but having in mind there's only 2 levels (silver 30 jewels and gold 50 jewels), there should be good challenge on getting' them right? Otherwise the game will be flooded with silver and golden ak busters in a short period of time.

I have 3 ak47 buster, but 7 jewels. What will i do with other 2 buster? Think that, what i will do if i win more buster?
Technically, you can have up to 21 Ak-47 Busters. 7 Bronze, 7 silver, and 7 gold. Alot of duplicates if you keep on grinding. It will irritate me too when i start playing Zombie again, between the ranked seasons. I only have one Ak and 6 jewels this far, but i guess I too will drown in AK's after playing more matches and i hate duplicate guns.JackPain (Sweden) -

Hello there, I have been playing some ZM Crater Dawn after finishing current events and got the following information:
1. AK Buster Gold DOES NOT give extra chance of getting jewels
2. As already said before by other users, if you lucky enough you can get 2 jewels in 1 game (hard mode), 1 jewel from the 3 square box rewards and 1 extra jewel as per the message above the 3 box items.
3. Drop rate is really awful, so far I have 125 completed Games (hard mode) and have won 7 Jewels (also I bought 2 sets in the Trade System for 1.2K ZP each for a total of 11 jewels)
4. I think since the map is pretty easy to complete with a good team, they decided to make the drop rate lower in order for us to invest more time to upgrade our AK Buster
I also think that rewards in the ZM special boss box for this map should be better (maybe after getting the max of AK Busters we should be able to get 1 jewel).
Hope this helps and if you like to play with me I will be doing some ZM games each day after 9PM EST to hunt more jewels, feel free to add me.

one time I did win 2 jewels. even luckier I just entered the game right when it was ending.. I did 0 damage, 0 score, was in game less than 5 seconds. Unless the jewels go by how the team played overall and not each player than I guess there is no trick, just luck.

This would be good. If we can get jewel from any ZM map then maps other than crater dawn won't be forgotten. I'm too tired of crater dawn and other maps don't motivate me at all because they don't give good rewards for completing them. This is the reason why I rarely do ZM nowadays.
You should make an suggestion about it. -

+1 still on the condition you get a legendary/heroic/SS whatever clear
other maps don't motivate me at all because they don't give good rewards for completing them.
Yep rewards really need to be updated if not something permanent for each map at least new temporary stuff -

Yup. The score only counts for what grade of box you get, like Crystal, Gold, Silver, etc. It doesn't matter if you were there from the beginning or you join on wave 16 and load in a few seconds before the boss dies. The clear grade is also completely random. I've been in groups where no one lost even one life and we killed the last boss in under 2mins, and we still only got a rare, while I've also jumped into games late and gotten a legendary rating and a gem even though I only shot the boss with a single mag. The rating type and gem drop are both pure RNG. It took me 303 runs to get 30 gems, and from asking other players about their runs to gem totals, the drop rates most likely 8%. -

+1 on this, bro. I am sick and tired of playing non-stop on Zombie Crater Dawn for the jewels. It would be best if they put the Awakening Jewels into the MP Shop, even if exchanging them with MP requires cool-down timing just like the Resources used to upgrade M4A1-Royal Guard.
Think about it, who the ____ had so much time in the world to play 24/7 everyday, let alone months and years just to get jewels that had around 1 % drop rate. Majority of us had work commitments and 2 days of weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are not even enough because some of us still had to work in weekends. If you GMs and Devs insisted on the lame idea of sticking to "Gacha" methods on everything (from Black Market Win rates to Spin the Wheel events), then at least increase the Awakening Jewel Drop rate in ZM crater mode to around 20%. -

+1 on this too. I had seen M4A1 Under Tech's performance on YouTube. It's amazing. However, to upgrade the M4A1 Under Tech to it's Gold Version, it will need the Awakening Jewel too. Given the pathetic drop rate of Jewels in Zm Crater Mode, it will take months or at least years to upgrade it (remember, both AK Buster and M4 Under Tech will be sharing Awakening Jewels. This means if you upgrade one with the jewels, there will not be enough for the other one). -
Here is my latest update: 205 completed games in Hard mode and 19 jewels earned at the moment for a ratio of 1 jewel every ~10 games
Also got 8 jewels bought from Trade System at 1.2K ZP
Its a long way to AK Buster Gold version but I think it worth the try.
The map itself is quick and you can complete it within a short period of time, I believe its the fastest ZM available (not counting Death Rally) -
From asking other players that I often play this map with, we agree the drop rate is roughly 10%. I came close to 40 games without winning a single jewel, but I also had an 8 game streak where I won 3.
With 748 Hard mode wins & 73 jewels earned my drop rate is 9.76%
