Any plans to buff Throwing Knife?

No that's not a good option.. The throwing knives are just a troll addition to the VVIP characters and serve no greater purpose. I wouldn't mind them receiving a buff which makes them 1 hit anywhere on the body though, considering how hard it is to hit a enemy with them. -
Imagine having it on an an FFA knife...oh man...
Do you know how hard it is to hit with that skill? Besides, you only have 7 shots.
My idea of improving it is to put it in the Knife Box and when all 7 shots have run out, you have the default knife instead. -
So my input is:
-The throwing knife is likely using work around logic to make it work that forces it onto the 2ndary weapon slot. If it isn't using work around logic and it could be switched over to say the Melee slot...then it'd be best to keep it from being usable in Melee Only matches as it'll further ruin the balance of those games (i'd say worse than the dragon blade has even). But what would be the benefit of switching it's spots? Right now it's something you can switch to as you want and aren't forced to use....so why bother making that switch? What would it's benefits be?
-Throwing knives are a fun addition and last resort. they aren't suppose to be easy to use or 1 hit kill weapons. And honestly. 95-98 damage is still massive all things considered. More often than not most of your enemies will have taken a hit or even some fall damage thus making the knives kill them.
-While they aren't 'easy' to use there are times when they are good and when you have a group of enemies all clumped together....you're going to hit one of them and clumped together is often the case in Melee Only games. Then unlike guns which hit their targets/placement instantly these have travel time so a lot of times enemies will accidentally run into these not realizing you're throwing them and if you're decent at timing and predicting enemy routes...well these can be pretty good for that too.
Also with this point keep in mind they, unlike all of our guns, have a bit of drop off as they travel. which opens them up to a bit more tactical options when you get used to it.
The only buff i'd honestly support would be if the knives stayed around after thrown and could be picked back up for re-use by anyone with a VIP Character with the throwing knife perk. But that logic likely doesnt exist in the game in a simple way and a work around would likely not be worth the effort to be added in as a buff to something existing instead of a new feature on something new in the eyes of the developers. -

Do you admit that you hardly see anyone get killed by throwing knife? -

You're missing his point here. He clearly states the throwing knives are a "fun addition and last resort". Throwing knives were never intended to be a viable weapon. Considering the perks most VVIP characters already have, buffing the throwing knifes would just make the game more unbalanced. Certainly if you allow players to use them in melee only modes. -

What perks most vip character have? Nothing! Their perks are only for pve, such as increase movement speed, unlimited bullets for a few seconds, explosive sword etc.
They can't see through smoke, they don't have flash protection like Skilled characters. One of the vip chars has reduced falling damage but this is not good enough of a pvp perk.
I honestly think vip chars are inferior to the skilled chars. Even LA swat can see though smoke. These vip chars are no more than a good-looking version of 4000gp character.
As of throwing sword, it should either be a 1 shot kill secondary weapon, or 2 shots kill in knife fights. -

What about furious kick? It's extremely useful in melee modes if used correctly. Same goes for the ability to cancel realod animation by using furious kick (which is not considered a bug in CF West, but intended). Yes, there are characters that have better perks in modes like S&D. But in any other mode, each VVIP character dominates in her own way. -

I see it often enough for what it is. You don't see it more often because generally it's better to use your actual gun or at least your pistol than it is to use your throwing knives. Because they're meant for fun and consequently you don't get a lot of them and while they are rather strong you have to get used to using them first.
If every VIP char running around used throwing knives as their default 'melee' it'd greatly tarnish melee only as it'd be essentially adding a gun to the mix. If treated only in regular modes that way it'd become an inconvenience in probably more ways than one.
As for the VIP characters. each one gets their own different set of perks that makes them worthy somewhere. Trinity has buffed throwing knives in Mutations (throws 3 in an offset pattern so if you have multiple mutants charging you, you can hit them all if they spaced right), along with the fall down damage reduction AND no damage from Team/self nades which comes in handy when playing with nabs. Trixy is nice for mutation mode with the shapeshift ability. and the other 3 are indeed primarily ZM related with each one getting a better skill than the other IMO. That being said we'll likely get a more 'skilled' for PvP matches VIP char in the future.
Then there's also the fact that the characters are dishing out EXP and GP bonuses as well. and they have the furious kick which has it's place but also has issues. In fact if we're going to talk about working on VIP character related stuff then let's talk about the VIP character kick and why it doesnt reg about half the time and why the damage can be quite random sometimes. At least the throwing knives is always consistent in the upper 90s.
The VIP chars also cost a little less than a regular VIP so they aren't going to have massive amounts of perks and bonuses or be super OP like some of the VIP weapons are.
