FPS Drops

Hi so I got back into CF after nearly a year of inactivity, I seen new features that were added which is pretty useful. I noticed my ping has gone up from below 20 to 50 but that's fine I suppose the thing is my fps for a millisecond is fine then drops to 60 and sometimes below 30. Game play jitters and stutters so I figured I should just close my background open programs like youtube playlist and discord which didn't fix the problem. I'm not sure what happen I was able to have CF on window mode, youtube playlist and my runescape client going with no issues a year ago and now I can't even have CF functioning properly on it's own. I got intel i7 and 4gb ram which should run CF fine, I'm still able to play my other games fine but CF difficult to play it's like a video buffering is the example that comes to mind.

I've seen other people on forums have made threads and not sure if they managed to find a fix, I was going to make a thread on Friday but GMs were out of work. Any other program I have that is running would be Malwarebytes since I see it in task manager would that be the issue? Or would updating a client that has been outdated for so long be the cause? Any feedback is appreciated.

I think it is because of your graphics card or OS. Which graphics card do you use?

Advice: the problem is not in any hardware you have .... it's just the game ...
another one : don't expect a GM solution.

To be fair, each problem can be interpreted differently. Though you might be right, it's not always fair to directly blame the game itself.

Thats right Utmost, well, you can try different things, in my case after some attempts I could not reach any solution: Updated the video card drivers, closed all programs like Razer Cortex or Video card apps, even had an upgrade to my internet connection and problem still the same. This does not happens when I play other games...
I have the same situation like Sasuke where I was able to play smooth some time ago and then started to notice this issue from last year around November and every patch getting worse...

Hope they can fix this soon since it seems is not related to our systems.

I totally agree... Butwhen the problem is the same in every thread and GMs stand clueless.

This can only be 10% the players' computer problem and nearly in 90% the game's

same situation, year ago i had 200+fps , now it looks like: 200-30-200-50-200-40 etc.
pc specification:
i7-7700k
1080ti
32gb RAM

The game is optimized poorly, that's a fact.

I been playing around with ingame settings and no luck, I like to play on window mode and with 800x600 I could get over 150 FPS but drops to 50 or under. Kinda hard to keep testing since servers are acting up so makes it hard. I can still play just the slide show gameplay is annoying sometimes.

I mean I got 0 problems with my setup, but have the gm's ever even really acknowledged it with like, collecting Hardware/OS/Software information from those effected? This seems to be a major problem that has existed for well over a month now.

I have the same problem ... in Russian there is no such problem with FPS

Not sure if it was ccleaner that found a trace of cortex in registry or me just thinking redownloading as a last resort seemed to fix FPS drops. Besides the servers giving whole room 1k ping and sometimes kicking out users seems to be fine now. Hope it stays that way at least.
