get the loading faster...

ive had a problem in logging which ive been told to log in faster but the problem is that when i press to play tthe game in the launcher it takes 7min to get in the logging thing, most time in loading texture and resources. how can i make that faster.

I'll assume loading textures and resources' speed is more dependent on your hard drive's speed, since the textures have to be transferred from your hard drive. I can bet that if you spent ~$500 on a speedy SSD, well, haha, they'll load in seconds.

Same for me too, loading does take a long while.

mine loads in 6 seconds for logging in it takes 6-8 seconds

Well. For a normal IDE HDD it will take a while. For SCSI users , or even RAID users too this will be cut down alot, this is because the data transfer speed of SCSI is faster than that of the IDE cable used in a normal hard drive. RAID on the other hand, requires 2-3 Hard Drives, and depending on which type of raid you use, (Usually Raid 0 for gaming), it should load faster, Raid 0 splits data into 2 pieces , placing a piece on each HDD. Makes loading times alot faster reading from both

But yea, enough of the technical jargon. Buy a SCSI HDD
