CF AL vs CF West
Hello everyone, i just recently watched a video of a recent update on CF AL in comemoration of the 7 years of CF AL, well, i am portuguese i can understand it all since CF AL is more like CF Brasil, the video update they made it's all in portuguese, so, for those who don't understand anything i'll invite you to search in the official CF AL page for the recent updates, now, my question is, i can tell everyone that CF AL just got a huge AWESOME update, lots of free stuff in the mileage market, even a weapon you can basicly turn it to a vip with MP points, which can be used to update the visual and EXP bonus and reload time, i just don't understand why CF West is so poor in content in his 10th aniversary update, i would like to have some explanation from a GM, because they are no more than us and also, its still SG West and Z8 Games, there's no excuse.. come on, last updates have been really poor, almost feels like youre all working on something. Can we get some answers? Just a tip of what you are all working on?
plus, why don't we have an active youtube chanel to talk about the updates? Feels like CF China, CF AL and CF EU were good CFs when it came to events and updates, CF NA is more like greedy, which doesnt make sense since canadians are the nicest ppl on earth(imo) :P

they cant even fix the fps drops, and new events for 1 crate daily is just LOL.. I played whole last year but last 2 months I didnt because I am bored (read ranked full of scripters and ha.kers, poor events, public rooms are only hmx rooftops, ffa new greece, sd eagle EGY) >D

You have some really good questions, and I hope I can clear some up for you!i just don't understand why CF West is so poor in content in his 10th aniversary update, i would like to have some explanation from a GM, because they are no more than us and also, its still SG West and Z8 Games, there's no excuse.. come on, last updates have been really poor, almost feels like youre all working on something. For content, there are always things people will see (crates, maps, etc) , and things that will be more hidden (bug fixes, technical changes). Depending on the state of the game and of the market, these will change based on what is priority and what is capable based on timelines and scheduling. We do get some of the best content overall though. For example, we came out with CF Bingo. We brought back Spin The Wheel. We had a killer Black Friday and Boxing Day sale, etc. Sometimes the focus isn't on a shiny new weapon, and I get why that can be frustrating sometimes - you guys want more and I totally get that. Just gotta be patient with us, content will of course always come, its more a matter of when, not if.
For the youtube channel, that comes down to a few different things, but the main ones I can mention are time and media. For time, we LOVE making videos for you guys, such as Behind the Crosshairs. Unfortunately sometimes our schedule is just too tight to make that a priority. Videos like this take a lot more time than you may think - for a 5 minute video we may end up spending 3 or 4 days of filming, cutting, storyboarding, and then giving it to our creative team for their parts. If we have 2 GM's doing this, that takes 2 members of our team away for a few days - imagine if we have 3 or even 4 GM's involved in that video. It does take a lot of time. The other thing mentioned is media - sometimes a large portion of players just don't want to spend 5 minutes listening to us go on about weapons. They'd prefer to spend 30 seconds reading the patch notes, and get in game to use them on their own. Sometimes thats the better option.

We got it you made a killer black friday and boxing day sales and a fantastic Halloween where you brough the entire Halloween collection and others ... But don't you notice that the majority of your recent updates are all money (ZP) based where the game became pay to win .... Even th boxing day didn't get the EP crates .
Not to mention the poor copouns rewards and MP shop !!
It has been about 4 years now since the last time we had a descent GP crates (since KSG and R93T2) and nearly a year since the last Gp udpated (the rediculous Thor) .
I'm not against your ZP/money hunger it your right to earn money but we have to get a descent service in return not just some gemmic reskinned weqpons in the next update.
The thread is showing 7 mp rewards including a golden Thompson that if we get a chance to see it here, it will be in a ZP crate with some masks and golden balloon hammer (for eg.) With a rediculous win rate that all the winners are " ghfdsertyipan or 016933... or below staff sergant rank !! "

Considering the amount of weapons that came from EU that would be great fit in the GP crate system I'm surprised it's taking this long for a new GP crate to come. -

Either way, I absolutely love the fact that there is alot of choose from in the first 2-3 months, instead of just 1 weapon to select.
As for the weapon upgrade, they deserve to get that, not only that they won the CFS 2018, but the fact that they are doing 7 years of CF being open. The upgrade system might take a while to get to max level, but it's still well received since it's absolutely free.
I'm actually hoping for at least 2 or 3 VIPS and numerous weapon, maps, system changes, and alot more for out glorious 10th anniversary. You just have to have faith. -

Cant agree more with you, been some time now with this FPS drops issues and no action from CF West... which at the end is the main reason why this game is starting to be "No FUN at all"
As Kanadian said, we had a good sort of events but all of them ZP based...
Its hard to not turn our eyes to other versions (even other games) where they are offering more things rather than ZP (pay) content.
Still, I have my hopes high for March, expecting an awesome whole month of good content/events (not ZP based). -

But it's our 10th birthday, it's like your 18th birthday, it's like very special, because many of the ppl who love CF started right here in this game, i'm talking about CrossFire North America, the only reason i've played CF EU it's because i have began my journey here, it's something special, and i don't think that if any other team from any other country would won the CFS it would be changing anything about that, i'm thankfull for the comment of GM Kanadian, but it really brings nothing more than what they already say, it seems to me that they lack of ppl to manage this game, why not hire more ppl? it's profitable, because if they manage to get more staff the main issues of crossfire would get solved and that already makes the unplayable, playable, paytowin is easy to avoid, altough many like it, and i'm one of those, but i recognize that its easy to avoid it, and bam, there you go, a thing i can actually call a GAME! But this is time lost, i don't think z8 or smilegate have an HR department, or atleast a decent one xD
My point is, they got a lot of cool stuff in theyr anniversary and we got nothing, wake up ppl, getting an m4a1 and knife after logging in a month isnt really a big deal, its just the same thing you would get from the GP market with a small sticker, this post would not be made if at least we got a decent anniversary event, but no, while others get so fu**ing cool stuff, i mean, the upgradable weapon with MP sounds like a awesome idea, here's a reason to dedicate a bit of my time earning MP

Trust me, this is all damage control, no proper dates, everything hidden behind promises omegalol af. Im going to keep with my pov until i see evident change in this 10th anniversary update.
And oh yeah, what about the killer 50% bonus yous are gonna keep tryna promote.
Honestly just disappointing, CF china got 3 30 day vips of whatever just for logging in on Christmas, we on the other hand, did not get an event for lunar new year, instead we get the same constant monthly mixups with late announcements, since i almost would have only been able to do 25 days, and ep on weekends to buy some killer zephyr crates. My god, at least try to sound realistic. -

Why the game runs worse now than it did 5+ years ago? I'm even using a better pc than what I had 5 years ago; it really should run well even on any potato, but it's not.
Why not make events to play on some of the dead content? Everyone just plays the same thing all the time.
I don't know what's your goal. Lately it seems like you're just milking the game while it still lasts. I'm not claiming that's the case, but we don't know--we say things how we see it. What's the point of new weapons/maps or other additions when the game is janky and has been so for years at this point? And, it really hurts saying this about the game I'm playing since 2010.
I thank you for replying to threads, GMs, and I hope something gets fixed with actual gameplay that is infested with errors, lagg spikes (both ping and framerate related) on bad servers.
All in all, from what I've read of this I honestly think you're understaffed. -

It indeed is the YEAR of our anniversary but I think the actual MONTH of our anniversary is in March, so I'd recommend you to wait a bit longer before making a judgement call. -
