I think implementing new characters for GP is bad, unless they're basic characters. MP however, I'm fine with.

Same,as Utmost said,i think it better idea to put new character for MP,its easier to earn

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing one or two new ones, but it does take quite a while to develop entirely new characters.
