While the discord is indeed used for friendly chat and is a much more relaxed environment, that doesn't mean the forums are ignored. You're right that we can spend some more time here, and moving forward we will try to do just that. You will note if you look hard enough though that Grumpy often goes through the threads and responds where he can, and I will make more of an attempt moving forward to do so as well. (I do recommend discord though as well, its fun there)

Then why is everything so broken? You can't set an avatar, the "Last reply" thing on the right usually is just wrong which also messes up the sorting and I keep getting some sort of "access denied" message on certain threads every now and then.

Okay. Imma try and be polite. Positive for once. But I can't because this is not Discord and I'm not here for a friendly chatter. Also I don't have time for Discord to wait for someone that MIGHT read my problems and opinions and MIGHT respond. If at all. My respect goes to you Kanadian because you... try... to respond and MAYBE relate to our problems. I kindly ask you, GM Kanadian, because you seem to pop up here more than others: When will you guys (GMs) reveal to us the secret why this game is a complete utter broken mess? I realize that you guys don't poke your noses all day (presumably) and have alot to do. But can please someone ANYONE tell us why CF West is in such trashy state? Until xVerm mentioned it I didn't even bother to try and put my own avatar. But what he said is true.How much time it will relatively take to consider the problems and fix them? Why most of you (GMs) avoid talking on such matter? I'm quite sure that you/we won't be seeing negativity so much if you dear GMs actually took the time to tell us what's causing all of this. In fact you will get more respect in our eyes if took a little time to tell us the root of all of this. It won't hurt anyone to admit that there are major problems if you just be honest with us. No one will get his neck bitten if you talk to us. It's not hard. Not at all. -

I do get where you're coming from, and I will never say there are no problems :P But some things we just don't comment on because we don't have any public information to share at the time. The GM's you see are unfortunately not the developers, and if we could fix the things you guys bring up instantly I promise you we would. We do forward what you tell us, but these things do take time and multiple people. Regarding your video we are looking into reported FPS drop issues, although I must admit I've never quite seen the stutter as bad before as in that video.
Regarding forum avatar stuff, we are currently in a long drawn process to overhaul the forums entirely, and some of the more active users might be able to tell you that our last update actually fixed a fair few bugs. So here's hoping the bug fixes will continue to roll out in that area. Like all good things, it will be a work in progress for some time. But I do ask your trust that we are working on it as much as we can at the moment. -

Nice to see that finally a GM (GM Kanadian) reads and replies to customers feedback,
not only what I've seen so far on this Cf West forum, they only post event, patch threads and leave till the next time.
Ps. It's kind of annoying to use this forum when it's not working propertly. :mad:

Oh boy. Was it really that hard? I mean, was it? No it wasn't but it took me more than a month to pull it off. It felt like I'm fishing for whales swimming in mud. I realize you are not the developers, we all do. As I said I know you are not just sleeping on duty. I'm sure that you know full well about the issues we all have. Just take a few moments to explain or atleast point out that you know what's going and...
"Hey CF community we know this and that and we will do this and that to improve it." or "We know this issue and we can't do anything at the moment."
GM Kanadian. Now... I love me some canadian stuff. Especially women. Therefore I like you too (I mean as a person). I trust you... for now. That's if this is not just damage control to calm things down.
