[Archive] [Biohazard/ZM 3] Extensive Guide + Deadly Tower Tutorial
[h=2]Hello and welcome to Walleo's extensive Bio3 guide + Deadly Tower Tutorial![/h]
First off, Biohazard 3 is an upgrade of the Biohazard 2 mode, with the combination of Bio2 specs, like the Sentry Gun, Claymore, and others, and Wave Mode.
Now before the map, let's talk about the basics of upgrading your power and defense abilities: [h=3][/h] [h=3]Character Attributes:[/h]
What you want to do is to add DAMAGE. You don't need Armor (if you have BP already) or sorten respawn timer. You want to be alive anyways and you want to deal more damage, so getting points in Bionic, Machine and Human Type damage, and last, but not least, get some HP, because that's the last thing you'll even put points on.
Missing 1 point here for missclicking into AC. You want to have all points of these. The rest does not matter. [h=3][/h] [h=3]Defense System:[/h]
WARNING: Whatever you do, DO NOT even bother putting points in the Plasma Shocker. It doesn't do much against monsters. You can put points only if you put points in other Defense Abilities.
Now this can be tricky since now, you want to get defense abilities that do TONS OF DAMAGE!
Since you can put points on every defense tool, you can start putting points of Sentry Gun, Claymore and Drone first, then Flag of Restoration ,then the Plasma Shocker.

Ok this map is harder than the maps before! The bosses do alot of damage (finally) and you need to be strategic on your movement.
First off, start off slow and start in Easy Mode. There will be 3 opened areas where the monsters will get out.
During the boss, the Drones need to stay alive so you can take out the Gorilla from the ceiling and stun him.
REMEMBER: Hit the Gorilla's spikes, not his head! The spikes take more damage than his head! [h=3][/h] [h=3]Second Floor:[/h]
This is a harder floor to explain, but it's much easier to face off. Think about EMB Lab!
This floor requires you to one shot the white mechanical creatures so they won't eletrocute the floor when they get into the sides of the map. The black mechanical creatures will try to get close to you to take you some HP away (like the exploding dreads in Bio1 maps).
There will be Flying monsters from Devestated City. Drones will help alot to take them down. And also the monsters on the ceiling will also be killed easily with the Drones.
This works in the first and third round of the floor.
When the Boss arrives, to take him down very fast, place 2-3 Sentry Guns in the middle of the map, oriented into the middle of it, and lead him into the middle, and start tanking damage from him. The others will eventually do damage to it. To help you tank more, let on of your allies give you the Flag of Restoration or Hypomeds. [h=3][/h] [h=3]Third Floor:[/h]
This is an easier floor, no doubt. The Demolishers from Bio2 will return to charge you up. You can place the Sentry Guns in the North area so you can take all the monsters spawning in that area much faster (and it's highly recommended).
The bonus round, each player can be in all 4 doors, and 1 can scout out the middle of the floor to protect the Penguuuuuu
In the Boss round, you can do similar to what you did in the 2nd floor. Lead him into the middle and place the Sentry Guns in the middle for him to take more damage. When he drinks his molotov to spew fire, fire his facial area so he gets stunned for a few seconds. [h=3][/h] [h=2]Refights:[/h]
Refights will happen if you have your difficulty on Hard, Expert or Nightmare mode. [h=4]Gorilla refight:[/h]
Drones are still recommended to stun him from the ceiling. Don't forget to stay away from him when he spews out Ice cold breath. And do not forget to hit his spikes! He takes more damage in there! [h=4]Gargoyle refight:[/h]
Only thing different here in that he makes a quick attack after summoning his white mechanical friends. Rarely fires a lazer, but that's easy to dodge if you move, but the rest is exactly the same.
Lead him into the middle, there the Sentry Guns are placed and tank damage from it. You'll clean him up fast. [h=4]Persona Refight:[/h]
One hell of a hard boss to fight. He has 3 new attacks that are devastating to face against, and one of them is unavoidable if he comes for you.
Sentry Guns should be placed near the middle so when he does his ground attack, there's more chance for him to drop more HP than usual. As for the Ground burn, you need to stay away from it. [h=3][/h]

- Sentry Gun: This is the best of all of them. It works in any floor and deals huge loads of damage in a 180 angle. It helps more in floors 2 and 3 to deal damage to the bosses. You can put points in it. I have tricks for the best usage of this later this post. But this is highly recommended.
- Plasma Shocker: Don't even bother using this. It sucks ^^
- Claymore: This also deals massive damage each 18-30 seconds and it's also recommended to put points in it. It helps you clean alot of mobs if they are gathered together.
- Flag of Restoration: It's okay, but only usable when it has 5 to 7 points in it. It regenerates alot of health and helps everyone. But please don't take 2 of these. 1 is enough.
- Drone: This is also a very great defense tool! This helps alot in floor 1 totake down the Gorilla boss from the ceiling. Recommended for begginers!
