Teleport (legit) ?

So after reporting some enthernet lan-glitchers, with detailed description, time when they teleported. It seems they play the game as before doing it as before.
Tell me at least, is teleporting by glitching the lan legit? Maybe it is legit and i don't know.

I'm sick of them, they teleport in the front of my face when i camp in tunel in hero mode-merida, and after they call it lag. But they do it only when they need to infect someone.

If it is considered "lag" and is not bannable maybe i will do this trick to and i will tell others that i have lag. LOL. Reporting them have no purpose i see

It's called lag switching (although a physical switch isn't a requirement). If my memory serves me correctly, I know someone who got temporarily banned after being reported for it (this was a long time ago though when most likely different people were reviewing the hack reports). But I don't see how you can go wrong by reporting them. It's worth a try.

Yes lag switching like that is in fact reportable. Not sure how they handle it punishment wise if it's a perm ban on first offense like hacking is or if they dish out a temporary ban at first and hope the person learns their lesson or not. That being said it's also probably fairly hard to convince the team that has to deal with reports, with beyond reasonable doubt, that it is in fact lag switching and not lag spikes. Especially with how laggy much of our player base is these days...just keep on reporting it when you come across it but make sure you re-watch the replays and can verify exact time frames when it's obvious.

I experienced it once or twice too in Merida, super anoying and considering how easily they teleport I think it can easily be pointed out in a report.
