Since a message from Pluto would have to travel at the speed of light (radio) since a cable would be destroyed by it's own weight.
5.33 hours is the time needed for a message to get to earth. Then you have the time for the message to get back. Plus with Electro-Magnetic radiation from the sun and other radiological sources in the universe i would presume that 2/3 of every packet scent would be bleeped out.
