compensate for Maintenance?!

How long has the game been in maintenance, my god, i go to uni and im in the uk, just came back from uni and it is still in maintenance, what the hell, we better be compensated for having to wait so long to enjoy the new content, ESPECIALLY those of us who bought the vip(s) and are very eager to try them.

  • The original maintenance actually didn't take that long. But, because of some pretty game breaking bugs found after the maintenance another maintenance had to take place. This one is currently in session, it shouldn't be taking too long according to the GM's.

If we'll be compensated I won't be able to tell you, you never know.
  • +1 on this, Fingers crossed on that compensation! We all deserve it.

A ZP weapon of our choice or free zp... now that's a good way before the real compensation begins.
  • You didn't lose anything for the downtime, you aren't entitled to any compensation, nor does anyone deserve compensation because a free-to-play game was down for a while.
  • Well i understand, but at the same time, you cant say we dont deserve compensation as the downtime was longer than the time stated, and wasnt the main reason for the down time to add new content, content part of a free to play game that we PAY for, if we are promised a pre order, we will look forward to playing with it, i expected to but nah, downtime was longer than stated. All im saying is you cant expect to satisfy your whole playerbase by not compensating them as you popped an unexpected downtime which messed up many of us in eu, if forums were as active as servers, im sure i wouldnt be the only one from eu complaining. Dont take this badly, im merely stating my reasons for asking for some sort of minor compensation.
  • The compensation is that you didn`t get baned for asking for one in a free online game .

My bad i had higher expectations when i pay 100 dollars for a pistol and a knife, i apologise humbly, calin sir. mobile games do it for gods sake, but a multinational company just chooses not to. not that thats a problem anymore, i understand now.
  • Be greatful that the game is now opened and free for all of us. Don't expect compensations for these kind of maintenances.

Sorry Bunni, I have to disagree here with you, I did lose something:

    1. My valuable time waiting for the game to be ready (for the 2nd time). When the servers were ready the first time at 3AM EST I was able to login (for about 30min) and spin only 100 ZP crates and couldn't spin for the rest I had, hence losing the best time frame to get something else permanent out of them.

    2. On the other hand, we also paid real money up front (VIP pre order) to use exclusive items which the majority of us couldn't enjoy due this downtime which was extended till 12:30PM EST of Dec 12th (almost 16 hrs of downtime). I know of the fact that sometimes unexpected things can go on, but I wish that the people who are involved in this game (owners) care more about the users who support CF by actually paying real money.
